Works well and prevents wetsuit rub but is a bit thicker than it needs to be so may cause some suits to feel a bit tight.

I got it for my 12 year old son who was always getting a sore neck from a wet suit. This little neck protector did wonders - no more sore neck, my son was spending hours in a sea, pain free!

I decided to buy one of these on the recommendation of a friend who I sea swim with. I had suffered continual problems with a rash, despite copious amounts of anti-rash lub', on the back of my neck after switching to Winter sea swimming with an additional thermal layer underneath my wetsuit (never have an issue with the wetsuit on its on). What a difference, with a little bit of anti - chaf lubrication on my neck, no more rash. The neck protector is very soft rubber and sits snuggly underneath my thermal layer and has become an invaluable piece of Winter open water kit, a great buy and well worth the money.

Works well to protect neck from saltwater wetsuit chafing. Make sure you measure your neck to choose the right size.
