Great hutch - worth the assembly effort
Perfect hutch for our beardie! Love the plastic trays … thinking of putting in sand on the top one - covering the bottom big one with reptile carpet and leaving the bin under the hutch open for warm water.Top hutch is roomie and will get some ledges stuck to the walls soon. Big cage section has lots of space to hang hammocks and other enrichment items.A few caveats …If you don’t have a slow speed screw gun - do it by hand as the high speed ones will tear into the very light wood.Only screw down the spine of the roof - this allows you to get into the top hutch hutch and clean/decorate or play with your animal. The instructions are decent - but the pics are everything everywhere all at once … I found it easier to dry fit the hutch pieces together (there are dowels already inserted) and laying on its side, balanced between 2 chairs. Then it was easy to hand screw the screws and quick to build.Latches are tricky if not paying attention to the direction the doors open - as we did and finally got it right on the third try.Check out the drill holes on the large screens before assembling the cage part - they connect the cage piece to the hutch - since the pieces are symmetrical, it’s easy to assemble them backwards, as we first did. Also there is a metal ledge to keep the ramp out of the bin. I would advise to put the screw heads on the inside with the bolts and nuts outside of the cage so there are no rough edges. The ramp itself is a bit slick - will put a sisal step cover on it for more traction.I can see this suited for many small pets, but as others commented, it would make sense to cover the drawer sections with wire covers - so the animals don’t sit in their urine. Our beardie only poops once a week - so not an issue for us ;)Lastly some have commented on odors - it was just the asphalt roof tiles - which on their long journey from China to the US, were wrapped in plastic … once we had the hutch outside for a day that scent dissipated.Enjoy your hutch and especially the hours of play you’ll have with your pet.

My rabbit loves this cage!!
I bought Buddy 2 cages on Amazon. When they both came in, I had to put them together. They were both moderately difficult to assemble but nice quality. I had to get my husband to help me assemble a couple sections of it but when it was done, I was very happy. The two story high cage that I bought he didn’t like, but this one he could easily jump into and he didn’t feel so closed in. I ended up getting a ramp later on, so he could walk into the cage and he loved going to the next level, which was kind of like a small den instead of a second level. I covered the top den with blankets so that he could have it dark in there and of course I got him 4 of the Kattie Water bottles. The bottom tray on the bottom right side is where I feed him and where he goes to the bathroom. I bought a box of pee pee pads, and I put a pee, pee pad down there and every morning I change it.- I really can’t understand how someone could leave a poor little rabbit out in the atmosphere to be rained on be cold, like some of these pictures, I think it’s disgusting. Rabbits are not made for that and if you can’t keep him under a porch that is protected or keep your rabbit inside the house then you shouldn’t have a domestic rabbit at all. Let the thing go. Or re pet it.The bottom left side I put his toys and a little carpet of hsy made of stuff he can chew on that they sell it on Amazon. On the top left side is where he sleeps and I make it really dark for him and I put a used pet towel down there so that I can change it out because sometimes he goes to the bathroom.I will send pictures of my set up later on, but needless to say I love how you can open the top of the cage and go in and clean it And buddy is not a small rabbit. He’s pretty good size.I voice texted this review so I’ll go back and edit it later if errors! The only negative thing that I can say about this cage is that the wheel structures are not secure or strong because when it gets cold outside, I will wheel him inside and twice now one of the wheels cracked off. I repaired one of them, but the other one snapped completely off!!They need to redo the wheel structure design that holds the wheels in place because that is the weakest part of this cage!!. Also, my rabbit did chew on the outside and the inside of the cage a little bit, but after a while he stopped. I guess he didn’t like the taste of it!

Comfortable for 2
Really nice and cute animal enclosure. I did have an issue of a couple of the pre-drilled holes were oversized for the screw sizes. Luckily easily remedied with stuff around the house or a quick hardware store run. Have been using for about a year now and the lift top is getting loose, nothing a few new screws won't fix. I did note my guinnea pigs absolutely will not use the ramp to go up top, but is great to put them there while changing the rest of the cage.

Perfect
We just got a Lion Head rabbit and had a starter cage. This is a bunny rabbit condo. Rabbits require a lot of maintenance and the drawers are a well designed feature. Assembly was easy. Would recommend. I thought the price was a bit much for a rabbit cage but well worth it. One thing , this is for indoor use. The product will not hold up to outdoor elements
