The remaining space is necessary for air pressure to build. Step 2: Screw on and tighten the cap back on. You are now ready to use the Cooking Oil Sprayer. Now, press the pump button on the top (it may require a few extra initial pumps to build up the proper air pressure inside) and just like that you have a spray that will allow you to control the amount that you use. Never tilt the bottle at an angle greater than 45 degrees while spraying. Step 3: After each use, make sure to loosen the screw collar to release any remaining air pressure in the container. This helps ensure an even, steady flow of oil is delivered to the nozzle the next time it is used. How to Clean: To clean, fill the bottle with hot tap water and add one drop of liquid detergent. Pump the cap until resistance is felt, then spray into the sink.To rinse, repeat the sequence using fresh hot water. It is recommended you clean your Essentials Cooking Oil Sprayer every 6-8 weeks. This ensures the best performance since oil can build up in the sprayer. IMPORTANT NOTICE: As the density of the oil is different from the water, so the oil's performance may not so good as the water when it is sprayed.
