There is one extremely bad feature about these candles. THEY FREEZE! Why on Earth would you sell candles that freeze??? Once the fluid freezes the candle flame is but the size of a Matchstick Flame....if that.

The containers are plastic with small metal cinched fixtures at the top. The package arrived with no damage, however when I opened it, 4 of the candles had shoved in tops. The result is that you can't light them without melting the surrounding plastic container. I sent the entire order back and overall I would NOT recommend buying this item.

This is the perfect addition to my emergency supply kit! It arrived in perfect condition, no leaks, and I was pleasantly surprised it's not glass. I think this would make a quirky housewarming gift with a box of matches!

They came perfectly intact. They all work but I don't know if it will be for 115 hours as advertised but at least they will be perfect for winter power outages.

To get a decent size flame, you have to pull up the wick with pliers--a real nuisance. Maybe I can pour this fuel into a wick lantern that adjusts. They freeze. They look tacky.

Perfect for bad weather and any just in case moment. Lasts longer than a candle and no messy wax or black soot to worry about. Contained in plastic so you don't have to worry about it breaking if you want to bring them along camping. Definitely recommend.

Packaged securely, compact, nice looking little emergency lamps, burn clean and safely..... so the label says. They seem kind of expensive, but I believe they are worth the safety and convenience of having a case or two.
