This batana oil is actually real and organic. Ive tried many and most on amazon and elsewhere are fake. They shouldnt look like conditioner they should not be greenish. They shouldnt have a pudding consistency! Real batana smells like burned coffee and i can assure you this one is authentic you can actually see little pieces of the palm kernel in the product! Real batana starts ro melt when you apply it reaction from your body heat.

I apply a few drops to my scalp and hair ends before bed, and in the morning, my hair feels soft and nourished. I've noticed less frizz, and my hair looks shinier and healthier overall. The oil absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, and the natural scent is subtle and pleasant. I've even used it as a deep conditioning and it worked for me.

haven’t used the item yet but packaging is a 10/10 i searched a long time trying to find what brand of Batana oil i wanted to purchase from and so far so good with this. i was really worried about the smell as some said 100% pure batana oil is suppose to have a dark smoke scent. some reviewed said theirs came with a burnt cigarette smell. I can say this smells natural a smoke scent but also has a coffee scent to help even it out. package was sealed & oil came in solid, not leaking. excited to try!

I don’t know what kind of coffee y’all are drinking but this does not smell like coffee. It smells like when I’m busy being a mom and I forgot about the rice. We call it smoked rice in this house because the burned crust on the bottom of the pan definitely flavors everything in it. That being said, I have it on my hair right now. And I will endure because I’m extremely curious about the effects of this stuff. It’s not so terrible that I can’t stand it but as I sit here and think about that smell, it could also smell like Old cigarettes. I really hope this is worth it after I wash it out and that the smell doesn’t linger. I will update when I find out. ** update** The smell lingers. It’s been six hours since I washed it out of my hair and it still reminds me of the smell of cigarettes. I can tell you, though, that if it weren’t for the off putting scent, I would continue using it. After I washed it out, my towel dried hair was noticeably thicker looking, or fluffier or something. I can’t really explain it. I blow dried it and it has a nice shine and it feels silky smooth. Almost bouncy. Despite the pretty results, I promptly took it to a FedEx store for a return. I hope to find a cold pressed batana oil. After doing research on how this stuff is created, I found out that the Brown oil ,which is definitely authentic (it melted in my hand like coconut oil) is extracted using a hot method. That’s what causes the burning smell. Some people equate it to the smell of coffee… Probably because they’ve never had good coffee before.

I love this product. It works really great. I saw the difference in my hair within week. It last about a week in hair before having to repeat method. I highly recommend it.

This is not real botanical oil the ingredients speak for themselves. It's a fake product. I ordered others that are actually real potato oil. You will be cheated with this product. Besides that my scalp it's profusely when I used it.
