I bought this book to help me to prepare for my Paediatric specialty training interview and it was invaluable. It is packed full of practice questions with structured, sample answers. It covers all of the areas that interviewers will be looking to assess and allows the reader to apply the learning to their own CV and prepare answers in advance of the interview. It can be used as a study tool alone, or can be used with a friend to create a mock interview. The guidance notes on how to structure answers are particularly useful and help to provide focussed responses that showcase your experience and skills well. Essential reading for interviews across all specialties, both at entry level and as a refresher for senior posts.

I bought this before my consultant interview and found very useful.Even though this book is written mostly for CT and ST interviews, the answers can be tailored for any interview.It has questions and also comes with sample answers.It covers clinical topics, management topics which are very common interview topics.I am pleased that I bought the book as it helped me to change my answers in the interview. Else the answers would have been very dull.

I purchased this book for the AFP (Foundation programme) interviews, but plan on keeping it throughout my career. Very relevant topics, many of which came up at my interview. This book is also good because it doesn't spoon-feed answers but encourages you to formulate your own responses with essential tips on making your answers stand out.

A MUST-read book for when you re preparing for medical interviews (from core training, clinical education fellow jobs or consultant posts).Well structured little book. If you don't have much time to prepare, then you can flick straight to the section(s) that you want to read.

I bought this to help my gf practice for her interview. We used this book a lot and she smashed the interview. This book is well laid out and made practicing for the interview a breeze. I'd reccomend anyone to get the 2nd edition over the first due to the updates which we compared to a friends copy of the 1st edition.
