Finest sketching instrument
If you want the sharpness and reliability of a pen but like that grey tone of pencil then you can't go wrong with this pencil. It feels a little darker than normal HB pencil, but in a good way. Instructions are in Japanese but the picture seems to suggest that you only need a little lead out, which makes sense as the lead is so thin that it can break easily. By some magic the lead doesn't seem to run out and you can continue to sketch for long time without needing to feed out more lead. Worth the money.

Not very good
This mechanical pencil is difficult to use as the pipe moves up & breaks the 0.2mm led. The pencil pipe is now blocked, I tried to use the device for clearing the pipe which did not work & therefore the pencil cannot cannot be used.

Five Stars
Brilliant for line drawings, very very fine. If only you could source H or 2H grade lead for it....

Decent pencil, graphite insert keeps breaking.
The pencil seems nice but I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and the metal sleeve that protects the graphite does not stay in place and retracts into the pencil while I’m using it causing the insert to break. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like that but the inserts keep breaking for me. I’d have preferred it to be like the graphgear 1000 mechanism, a pencil I have been using for a long time and I really like.
