I like Japanese skin care and I like SK-II but this set is a completely overpriced. Inside the huge red box was 230ml bottle of Facial Treatment Essence and a tiny 30ml bottle of Facial Treatment Clear Lotion , plus a tiny red jar of 0.4 fl oz of Skinpower Advanced cream. I was extremely disappointed with the huge bottle then 2 tiny containers of the other 2, rather ridiculous. The tiny bit of cream was the only thing nice in this huge red box. I will not be fooled again with such packaging and items inside

Obsessed with this brand! I didnt know anything about this brand until I was able to give this a try. I didn't understand why it was so expensive until I did some research into this product online and learned they used ingredients that were really hard to source. I've been using it for months! You dont need a lot and it goes all long way! I've been using it and have noticed a huge difference in my skin! My skin is less dry, using other products no matter how hydrating, by mid day, my skin would be peeling and dry and I never experienced that before. My skin now always feels so soft and I've noticed the texture drastically improve! As an African american not many products work for me like this! I plan to buy more very soon! Because nothing else I've ever used has ever made my skin feel and look this good. Its very expensive but worth it!

This set is a great value for the pieces included (currently the set is priced at $245). The Facial Treatment Essence is a full sized product and it alone currently goes for $245 on Sephora. SK-II is a luxury brand from Japan. It's got a lot of hype online although much of it is incentivized. I But if you're curious about the product this is a good entry to it. Expensive, yes, but it covers the suggested SK-II routine of: 1)Cleanser 2)Toner 3)Essence 4)Moisturizer The Essence is the only full sized product. The Cleanser & Toner & Skin Power Cream (moisturizer) are trial sizes that are difficult to find outside of sets like these. I usually loathe the trial sizes because they're often a worse deal; but the box is balanced by the fact that the full sized bottle of Essence is the same price as the whole box so it kind of feels like you get the rest as freebies including two Facial Treatment masks (those masks are $30 for 2 currently on Sephora). These products are so expensive that I actually find this box pretty reasonable. Why spend hundreds on full sized products you're not even sure you'll like? The most interesting/audacious claim, in my opinion, is that this routine will replace all your other droppers and serums - which might justify the price tag if true. I'm personally a little aghast at the idea of giving up all my little serums and lotions and creams (bc I looove trying new things out) but I can definitely see the appeal of a solid routine of one brand. I can also appreciate that not everyone likes to experiment with new products (I've definitely experienced reactions to products before that landed me in my doc's office needing an Rx - and getting that doc bill in the mail makes me less giddy about finding cheap alternatives and dupes) so finding your one favorite brand and your one solid routine to get you out of the tester loop will be a godsend to many. Anyway, I'm recommending on value alone. If you feel so inclined to try this trending brand, this is the best way to jump right in. Personally, I'm not convinced it's a magical game changer for myself but I have a pretty high bar to clear for me to sign on to the claims of any beauty product. I can appreciate that it's a well made set. And this "Bestsellers Kit" is a really well done, good faith product. Sometimes when companies do the "gift set" for the holiday season they'll throw some of their lesser wanted or fringe products into it as a way to offset the value. This set is legitimately curated to encourage you to try their recommended daily routine; I think that indicates they have confidence in their product if they're willing to take a bit of a loss bc they think they'll hook you. Will update if my review changes after finishing all the products.

good value for the set, makes a great gift to try out high end skincare. after using the essence for a month i did notice my skin was brighter and had less dry skin issues like dullness. the blemish solution kept my skin clear and didn’t dry it out. i liked the cream as well, it was very moisturizing.

As someone who is into skincare, I know of this brand but I've never used them. This is a nice set, which for me is a lovely and luxurious experience to enjoy. This set will make a great gift for all skincare lovers as well. I like that the products in this set are geared towards everyday use with gentle and lightweight products, which all skin types can benefit from. The cleanser is gentle and leaves skin clean yet soft. The treatment toner has ferments and actives in it, so it's not something I would use everyday. The essence is lightweight and absorbs well, leaving skin hydrated with a nice glow. The cream is nourishing with shea butter, ferments, some peptides, yet still lightweight for everyday use. Their products all have ferments in them, so these are great for those who love fermented products to get that smooth and soft glow.
