Solid break/jump cue for the money!
Solid heavy break cue for the money. Joints are soild and flush. Found it a bit tough to find joint protectors though. Excellent scatter and almost always make a ball or 2. All my buddies ask to use it now. Great purchase.

Awesome breaker
The weight of this thing it awesome. You might not think that a few more ounces makes a difference but it sure does. The tip is extremely hard and I know its supposed to be so that it will hold up to what it was made for. The only thing I had an issue with is that I had to scuff the tip just a touch so that it would hold enough chalk not to miscue. Other than that this thing is well worth the money. Amazon did a poor job of packaging on this cue though for me. I have purchased other cues from Amazon and this is the first time that I had an issue with their packing on something like this.

VERY impressed
Ok so first of all I’m not a pro I joined a local league so I can get some playtime figured I would get a break cue so I wouldn’t ruin my $300 5280 by using it to break . The avenues we’ve been playing are not always ideal so I need a shorter cue or I hit the wall figured a jump cue would give me some feel still so killed two birds with one stone. I got it to the table and let me tell you this cue is no joke I like my cues heavy I play with a 21 just my preference but this thing is a beast !! Very nice spreads made at lest one ball on every break and if your still reading this the icing on the cake is that I ACTUALLY JUMPED A BALL FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER !!! (The legal way I can scoop jump a ball across the table and make a shot any day hahaha) The jump cue was crazy easy !! I’ve only had one session with it but I am very happy with it . I didn’t feel any deflection on the shaft while breaking , it is fatter than I’d like but it makes it up in the power breaks . Last thing is yes it is a three piece cue even though there is a review here that says it’s not , maybe have a can of spinach , because unless you know this is a three piece , it’s seam is almost impossible to see and that’s why I attached pics. Last thing is I was gonna get the elite heavy but the 3 piece was more important to me because of small venues and this cue doesn’t lack anything because of it! Enjoy West Coast G

Better than I initially reported
Description was inaccurate. It was supposed to be a 3 piece stick but what I got was a 2 piece stick. The description says the model number is JB528 but the number on the stick is 185. I don’t know what I got. After having used the stick for a year, I like it much better than I did originally. I was mistaken when I said it was only two piece, It is actually 3 piece, I just didn't figure it out immediately. It's a very good stick that has held up well through a lot of hard break shots.

The Player 3 Piece Jump/Break Pool Cue JB528 "WORKS GREAT"
My wife made a ball on the break for the first time, and it happened the first time she used this cue. I average two in on the break, its amazing from breaking. it has a wide hard tip which is good for both breaking and jumping. The cue is hard to split the first time, for the money its a good extra cue to have.

Hard hitting
Very nice feel and very sturdy. I get twice the break with half the effort. Good follow thru with this cue and you will be making 2 or more balls every break

Heavy break stick.
Great for busting up the break. Took my a bit to learn the jump shot. But it’s not the stick it was me.

I'm very pleased with the way faster delivery than announced initialy by the vendor ASKA BILLARDS → 5 days less. The cue seems so solid and unbrakable; it came poorly packed when compared with the ASKA break cue which is half the price (25 oz) but feels as good as this Players cue (28 oz). I will review it at a later moment after getting used with.

I truly is heavy and takes getting used to. As mentioned in other posts it does to deflect more easily. I takes practice to hit hard and strait, I always seem to deflect a little. Getting better. However the true reason I purchased it was for jumping and it does a great job of it. Very easy to jump with, I am very pleased. As a bonus for me my regular cue is also a players with the same joint , so I can use my butt with the break shaft and remain within the 25 ounce max weight if I need to.

This is a solid breaking cue. We love it! Had it for 2 years now. It gets used at least 10 times a day and its rock solid, super straight. Very happy with this purchase.
