I bought this Dove hair mask based on the reviews and because I needed a conditioner that would make my curls soft and bouncy without much fuss. I have medium length hair that has gotten frizzy as I've aged, and, thanks to menopause, it has become lifeless. There are a few hair products that I layer to help my curls look less frizzy, but that requires me to put time into styling it. I'm retired, I don't want to put a lot of products in my hair or do much styling when I'm just relaxing at home on the couch. So I decided to give this Dove hair mask a try and I'm really glad I did. First, the price is fantastic and a little of the product goes a long way. I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week so this ample size tub has lasted me a long time. Second, the scent is so nice. I can't handle heavy perfumes or hair products that smell too flowery or sweet because my allergies go crazy. This Dove hair mask has a very subtle scent, it's very light and clean, and it doesn't linger, which I appreciate. In the shower I wash my hair, then work a good size dollop of this Dove hair mask through my hair and pile it on top of my head while I shave and finish showering. The last thing I do is rinse my hair and it's already incredibly soft. When I'm staying home, being lazy, which is most of the time, I let my hair air dry and the way this Dove hair mask makes my hair look and feel is beyond incredible...it's so soft and airy. The best way I can describe it is, it's like how your hair looks and feels when you're under water, when it's just floating and moving with the water's movement. It so light and bouncy. I have to admit, there's still a bit of frizz, but much, much less, and the softness and how healthy my hair looks makes a little frizz tolerable. You have to try this stuff, truly. It's a game changer. With everything we put our hair through, this Dove hair mask is like a spa day for your hair, helping it relax and feel good. Your hair deserves it, YOU deserve it. Seriously, treat yourself and buy it...your hair will thank you.

I love this stuff. It smells amazing! Even 48 hours after washing my hair it still smells good! I recommend leaving it in longer than one minute. Also I use it BEFORE my regular conditioner, not after even though sometimes my hair feels so smooth and detangled that I don't even feel like I need to use my regular conditioner. I don't know why people are saying this product doesn't rinse out good, I've had no problem with that. My only complaint is that I do wish it would come with a tinfoil cover over the hole though so you know the product hasn't been tampered with. Overall I've seen a significant improvement in my hairs health after using this product consistently for about a month or so.

Incredible beginner hair mask to those wanting drug store hair mask products! I love the smell and the way it feels on my hair. As much as I do love this hair product, for a few bucks more, I think the EvaNYC hair mask is the way to go. It’s thicker, smells so much better, and you get more product. I did buy this hair mask 2 or 3 times and I absolutely loved it! It’s better than most masks I’ve tried but if you really want to level up your haircare game, I highly recommend the EvaNYC hair mask!

This mask saved my burned hair. I have light thin hair, with highlights, and ended up burning with my hair curler. I got this product not imagining how amazing it could be and I'm very surprised. The smell is ridiculously good, smells like a very expensive spa product and stays in your hair throughout the day. My hair became very soft, and even tho I need a little bit of product, I can tell is effective for damage control so far. Have been using as a daily routine and couldn't love more. Soft hair, shiny and thicker than before. I'll be totally buying this again.

This hyaluronic acid hair mask from Dove is fantastic! It left my hair super nourished and soft. I've been using it as a deep conditioning treatment at home. But there are different masks for every hair need, so make sure you know which one to choose. The scent is very subtle and not overpowering, and the texture isn't thick at all; when you apply it, it feels like a serum. I assure you, you won't regret it!
