Description says:"It also has a locking drawstring closure with ball type lock..."Knocking off two stars: one for the hassle of having to do this now and one for not getting exactly what's advertised. Not okay. None of the two bags I bought included the "ball type lock". Sure I could buy a pack of those round locks myself for 5 bucks, but I wouldn't have to take time out of my day to do that if it came with the right piece in the first place. The bag itself isn't bad for the price but without that locking piece, it makes it much less secure and much more difficult to tie off. I was expecting to get what's pictured, instead I got some little hollow tube that just slides around, can't cinch it. If I'd gotten exactly what the pic showed I would've given 5 stars. It might not be a big deal to some people but I expect everything I buy to come as advertised, it's a little thing called honesty.**EDIT** The company's customer service honored their word and sent correct replacement, so I've updated the rating. Bags are sturdy, well made.

OVERVIEWI have owned this bag for about a month, and have used it for about 5 loads of laundry that I haul back and forth by-hand in the NYC Manhattan metropolis. The bag has survived so far, and appears to be made of high quality the material. The fabric is appropriately thick and the color is as advertised. The drawstring and clasp for the bag is good quality, and the shoulder straps are thick.I do have one issue that the bag is smaller than it appears. It can hold a medium size load of laundry at most--and when this happens everything needs to be packed in very tightly. When carrying a medium size load, the bag is so tight that the shoulder straps, which are now held very tightly to the side of the bag, do not have enough slack to comfortably function as a backpack. Love this backpack. I had a serious back injury and have been walking with a walker and cane for several months. I need to get my laundry to the laundry room from my apartment, and a laundry basket wasn’t a solution with my arms already being used for mobility. I didn’t know these backpacks even existed until a quick search on Amazon. I can control the weight by adjusting the quantity of items. This backpack allows me to do laundry on my own schedule and not have to ask for assistance!

I've had this laundry bag for about 5 months and it still looks brand new. It gets pretty weighty when it's filled with blankets, sheets, jackets, throw pillows, clothes for the week, towels, etc. The straps are in good shape, so is the drawstring and the bag itself (no holes or tears). You can't beat the price and the quality you get. Best of all it's made in America!

I got the American laundry bag in camo green color for my guy to have for putting his work clothes in and carrying them to work. It is true to color camo and big enough for holding two weeks of work shirts and pants. He loving fact that he can put his clothes in it and just pick the bag up taking it to work when he has too. This bag has made it lots easier on him and he liking that I could found it in camo. The bag is made really good. If looking for a laundry bag I think you would like this one, we do. I've had this bag for about half a year now, and it shows no signs of wear or tear. It is incredibly sturdy for being so light and makes laundry trips much easier than carrying clothes in multiple bags or in a cart. I highly recommend this for everyone, especially people who need a better way to get clothes to and from a laundromat.

I really like the size of these bags. They are very sturdy and seem durable. I live in an apartment on the second floor and the size of these makes it easy to transport my laundry up and down the stairs. I had previously purchased other bags and did not like them since they were extremely large, but these are great.

This bag was a good one.. I bought a few different brands before and they broke on the first day... this has lasted and my husband loves it for those small laundry trips
