My grandkids thoroughly enjoy playing with this toy!!! Keeps them busy in the tub!

It's a good toy for fans of the Cars series. The color changing is novel, but has limited fun factor. The novelty wears off after several minutes. And because of the water, this may be best played outdoors to minimize on clean up. The overall quality is still good with bright colors and solid construction.

It looks super cute but I have to wait until my grandson’s birthday in April to see how it works…

This car wash kept my grandson busy for hours!!!

This is a very cool Lightening McQueen toy set! My 3 year old and 10 year old both love it! The car turns a different color when it becomes wet, which is really neat to watch, even as a parent! Assembling the car wash is easy to do and only takes about 2-3 minutes. The pieces are sturdy and snap into place gently. Deconstructing is simple when needed. The entire play set functions very well and as intended.Overall, this Lightening McQueen car wash toy set is an excellent size for the price! It would make a really nice gift if your little ones like the Cars movies!!

The car did not change color for us. The concept is cool but my son was really looking forward to watching the car change colors. I even tried running it under super cold water & super hot water and nothing. Just stays blue. So that’s disappointing.

My son likes to watch Genevive's Playhouse on Youtube and one of the videos he is playing with the color changing Pixar Cars and he loves playing in water so I knew he would be excited. Upon getting this he was very interested. It of course does not come assembled which took me aroun 15 minutes because it has small pieces and a bunch of stickers that go on. I admit I prefer something I don't have to put together but it wasn't that bad. My son was of course having the time of his life with this thing. He more wanted to just drop the car from the cold bin to the warm water bin. The car wash part of the toy was not really easy for him to use and the car kept getting stuck and when you would put the water through the top it spilled all over. After about 10 minutes the novelty of the car wash wore off and he spent the rest of the time throwing the car back and forth. Since that day, he has not touched it or asked to plat with it one time. This is even a toy thats out in his line of sight and he just isn't interested. I would say if your child loves the Cars movie then they might get more play time out of this but my son just wasn't that into it. It is priced under $20 which is nice. I just don't know if its worth the buy.

My son absolutely loves this toy and it's a great little introduction to science with the changing colors. HOWEVER, I will caveat that this gets pretty messy with the water and little kid hands (aka lack of precision with moving water around). Highly recommend putting a towel or two underneath it, no matter where you're playing with it (floor, counter, table, carpet, etc) as you will guaranteed have water everywhere. Awesome toy otherwise.
