Got it to link my inexpensive headphones to my Tv. I'm not very technical but it took less than 5mins to install and the sound is excellent .It's small so doesn't take any space up and you don't see it!

I have purchased this to connect my 1980s music centre (Sanyo) to my contemporary separate system (Sony amp with Bluetooth), mainly so that I can use the cassette deck of the music centre over better and more modern amplification and speakers.This works brilliantly, and the sound is absolutely stunning. For the benefit it's given me, it's worth every penny!

Range and connectivity are very good and set up is easy. Latency is excellent when paired with a compatible Apt-X receiver and keeps TV sound and headphones in sync. With the more basic SBC earphones lip sync is acceptable for viewing, but you have to turn off the TV sound. With one Apt-X and one SBC, the transmission reverts to SBC.

So far so good….this is the third device I’ve tried and so far (it only arrived this morning) it appears to work well and the lip sync seems to be fine. The other 2 devices were from other manufacturers.This is powered from the TV usb port, I had a little difficulty getting the Bluetooth pairing to work with my AirPods but after persisting and several on/off switches the AirPods were working and I could also add my wife’s AirPods too. This is what I have been searching for as I have the AirPods set up as hearing aids, so the TV (without aids) has been too loud for my wife but adjusting to her levels makes it too indistinct for me.I’ll add to this as we progress along but so far it works really well. I’ve also been able to connect a set of Sony Bluetooth headphones and an older pair of AirPods. This is a happy customer experience for me so far 🙏🏻

When using this item there becomes bag between tv voice and what you receive though your headphones, very annoying

I use a bluetooth transmitter to listen on Apple Airbuds to a Sony TV. This Avantree Audikast 3 was purchased to replace an older 1Mii B03 Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver that had never worked very well. Whereas the sound from the 1Mii often dropped out and had recently become unusable, this little Avantree unit, one quarter the size of the older 1Mii, gives crystal clear sound and is an excellent buy. I love the way that all the instructions are accessed via QR codes on the unit and paper instruction insert. Cables for USB power optical and 3.5mm audio connections are included so it's ready to go.***Important note: We almost returned it as not working as no light could be seen to suggest that it was working - We'd not realized that the top was completely covered with an opaque label so once removed, it was revealed in all its glory***

Great product easy to set up

I bought this because I was having connection problems with the bluetooth in my LG tv. This gizmo not only works well, but it's far more convenient as I don't have to change the Tv speaker output settings every time I want to use the bluetooth headphones. It's permanently connected to my tv optical output. Too early for 5 stars , I'm afraid.
