Professional grade HEPA air purifier with UV and Ioniser built in. This machine is super modern looking and well made. It is quite big (looks smaller in the images online) and arrives well packaged. The unit is super easy to operate and there is an option to turn off the cool blue light on the unit. This is the only air purifier I could find that states a proper CADR clean air delivery rate that was sub £300. The unit has 5 power levels from ultra quiet to mega powerful and the noise from the unit increases as you up the power. The output also acts as a fan. I have the unit in a smallish bedroom and it is very effective. Super clean air, a great nights sleep with no congestion or nose blocks. I like to sleep to the sound of a fan so this unit is perfect as it makes a nice white noise which can be altered in power. The filters seem easy to change out when the time comes. The instructions are in proper English not any Chinese crap as this is obviously not made in china it is of a decent quality construct. Pricey but worth the money - no more stanky bedroom. No more coughs sneezes germs pollen my bedroom is now my clean room. Ps would recommend you fully clean the room you intend to put this in prior to using it, i.e. Under the bed etc so that this unit can be left on and keep the room clean afterwards.

I can't stress enough how life changing my PureMate filter has been. I bought it during the lockdown. And now I can't imagine not having it. I'm allergic to most airborne things, so I live with a constantly irritated nose, throat and chest. BUT, now I have the PureMate, omg, my life has changed at home. I feel so much better, especially during the hayfever season when everything feels even worse. I run it in our bedroom at night for 30mins before bed, so I go to bed and sleep more comfortably. Dust pervades everything, there's no escape, but this filter really helps to control dust effects on my respiratory health. I love it. I'm using it right now, because the builder is making a dusty mess doing our bathroom, and I can breathe! It's great. You actually feel the air quality difference after it's been on for 30 mins or so, depending on what speed you've got it running at. It is physically noticeable. It's big and you need to find a corner for it, but it's not heavy. And it's loud on high setting, but you atune to it. I don't care. I can breathe and that matters more.

It is somewhat useful although I can't tell the difference in all honesty but it collects a lot of dust so I am guessing it must be doing something at least sucking dust particles in. Not bad

Here is the review for the Puremate air purifier. Hope you find it useful. While in the market for an air purifier, I was looking for quality but not willing to break the bank with a Dyson, I searched the internet for an effective alternate until I came across this. It claims to have many functions but most importantly an allergen and carbon filter, being only £100 it seems like a God send it covers a large area and has a H.E.P.A filter which is the latest in this line of technology. PACKAGING: It came professionally packaged and came the next day courtesy of amazon prime. The fan is a good size unit enough to filter a good size room such as a living room which is where we place ours. PURIFYING ABILITY: It is very effective since it has been placed in our living room the air feels fresher and with different abilities such as UV light and Ioniser it provides an effective shield against airborne bacteria and pollen. Since it's purchase, there has been no outbreaks of hay-fever within our household which is extremely beneficial for my family. There has been no smells and I have noticed that my kids aren't wheezing or coughing in the middle of the night. FUNCTIONS: The fan has 5 speed settings with 5 being the highest option it is fairly powerful and fairly noisy. If I want to sleep I put it on 3 and it is very quiet. I have to mention that the air purifier generally purifies the air in the living room within a few minutes but isn't powerful enough to clear the air while the windows are open which is understandable and oddly the air only comes out of the left side of the grill. The ioniser and the UV light are controlled independently so one can stay on while the other is off. I've read recently that the ioniser produces ozone (O3) which can cause respiratory irritation so I usually turn that function off and keep only the UV light on just in case. SUMMARY: The air purifier is very effective and really is a necessity for anyone especially thosewith breathing difficulties. While searching I found that this is a rebrand of the company Germ Guardian which offers exactly the same functionality as this and is as of writing this half the price as well. I only bought this over the other because it offers a 5 in 1 unit which is very misleading considering that they've only added 2 extra functions; which the original already offers but that one is listed as 3 in 1 so it is misleading. and if you're considering buying this I would strongly recommended only buying whichever version is cheaper as both purifier versions to my knowledge work exactly the same and offer virtually identical features. PROs: *Effective air purification *Multiple functions including ioniser and UV light *5 speed settings *Uses new H.E.P.A filtration system *Cold air is released so can double as a moderate fan but it isn't a cooler *It produces some noise at 5 but is very quite at lower speed settings *Very efficient and reasonably priced *Good balance between quality and price *Filter can be replaced every 6 months and the unit has a light indicating when the filter needs replacing which is handy *Filter can be cleaned by vacuuming it as well CONs: *It isn't remote controlled which would be a nice feature to add for future models *Weirdly the air only comes out of the left hand side and not the entire outlet *It doesn't work as a cooler/fan like other units on the market *It appears to be a rebrand of an existing company and doesn't offer anything different to the original company which is about half the price Its a useful unit and has greatly benefited my family's health but it is a rip off of another company which is currently half the price hence i'm giving it 3 stars

I was quite pleased to receive it and see how it works, but I haven’t heard good things about ionizers and this product uses it and doesn’t really specify what kind of effect it’ll have on pets so for this reason and due to the lack of information, I am unfortunately returning this product.
