Sturdy step
I bought this step to reach into my top cupboards plus for cleaning my windows etc. I have a metal step ladder that my foot slipped off so I was very wary of using it again.I love the wheels on this , the ability to give it a push with my food and it literally slides across my kitchen floor to where I need it. Then, when I stand on it, the wheels go inside and I have a sturdy rubber rim that just does not move. I feel completely safe standing on it.My only niggle is that it comes in two parts so you can choose to only use the bottom part as a smaller step. However to use it as a taller step, you have to force 3 metal prongs from the top step onto the bottom. The pamphlet says to use a heavy thumps with your hand but I couldn't do it. I had to align the prongs and sit quite heavily down and bounce till the prongs suddenly clicked in. I certainly won't be trying to undo them. I also know that they won't suddenly come apart. I'd still give it 5 stars though.

Good - but wheel fell off
This is good and solid - but one of the castor wheels was missing a circlip out of the box - so fell off. I had to use some duct tape to hold it in place.

Potential problem with spring compression.
One of the extending legs failed to work as a small secuity clip at the bottom of the spring was not secured. I reported the fault to Amazon but noone contacted me. I managed a minor repair which allowed the other 2 wheels to glide the stool somewhat, but not smoothly, and now the clip has flown out of the assembly and I cannot replace it. Please be aware that your purchase of this product may have the same fault.

Does the job!
This is light but sturdy and really useful for high cupboards in the kitchen. It's easy to move around the room too.
