I used this tool to trim a large pepper tree. branches ranged in diamter from 1/2" to 5". All went well. Product performed really well. Glad I bought it. Pro guy wanted $400 to do my tree. So I bought this tool, paid a kid $100 to climb into the tree, used my existing ladder and he cut the branches off where i wanted the tree trimmed (usuallu 6-8' long pieces) then had him cut everything into small 3.5 ft lengths to fit in my trash bins. After four weeks (3 trash bins per week) got rid of all the debris. Now I saved money on the overall tree trimming (50%) and also have a new tool for furutre use. I am a DIY guy.

excellent little saw. cuts quickly. oiler works great.cam type chain tensioner is super. I wish my gas saw had this. I used standard bar and chain oil. Easy to remove bar and chain to give a good cleaning. the battery life with mileaukee 3 ah red lithium battery exceptional.more than very happy.

Full disclosure- I bought this item in a hurry, thinking it was a Milwaukee product, and was a little disappointed when I discovered my error. No need for regrets- this is a tough, dependable tool. I am using it to cut up the burned remains of a demolished house and it has performed exactly as I needed it to. I have worked it for approximately 6-7 hours, cutting 2x4s and 3/4-inch fir boards, and it performs like the proverbial knife-through-butter. I doubt anyone will work theirs as hard as I have mine, and I am impressed each time I use it.

Amazing little chainsaw , tons of power made quick work of some thiccc branches , I didn't care to much for the included safety glasses and gloves I discarded them since I already have these items , the inclusion of an extra bar and chain makes this an unbeatable value, Paired it with a Milwaukee 6.0 High out put battery and I gotta say that combo is unstoppable

This thing is awesome! Should have bought something like this long ago.Works great for cutting up 1”-5” branches and similar. Just used it all afternoon and it kept on going using a 4 AH Dewalt battery. Reduced a giant pile of limbs to burnable lengths and is still plenty sharp. Used a Husqvarna to take down a few trees, but had a huge pile of limbs left to deal with, and that is where this thing shines.From what the spare 8” chain package says, it should be a 1/4” pitch, needing a 5/32” file size to sharpen when it gets dull. There are zero instructions for sharpening, but spare chains which hopefully will fit were only $13 for 5 of them anyhow. I was impressed that it was still cutting well at the end of the day.After using this thing one day, I won’t be without it or something similar for yard work. A lot easier, faster, and safer than getting the full size chainsaw going for this size of stuff.The oiler works well so far. The chain tensioner is easy to use. Price was right as well. Already had the Dewalt batteries so this is a no brainer.

A shame this is a handy and great for cutting reasonable sized wood. Definitely not a while tree but branches and reasonable sized limbs.Anyone know replacement blade info? Good concept - poor implementation. Nothing about replacement parts, repair, or specs for blades for replacement.I assumed blade specs would be provided in product info for replacement blades. Nope, don't see anything whatsoever. Is this saw supposed to be so disposable that no one would ever replace blade?That's absolutely ridiculous.I realize we've become a disposable society but this is crazy.Attaching pic that is on the 8" chain package - shows various chain alternatives - doesn't say which are compatible with saw.Amazon "product support" was of course absolutely useless. They just wanted to talk about replacing the whole saw. Have attempted to contact company a couple of ways and gotten no response.A shame I would have liked to keep it but it's going back.

Awesome!This saw is compatible w. my large investment in 18v LXT Makita Lithium batteries. And it works great! However after early use, I discovered the oil reservoir cap was missing (vibrated off?) and the chain started to rust. I emailed the contact about acquiring a new cap...and they sent me a full new product!!!

This little saw made cutting small brush & branches a lot easier. Real easy to operate. It is not too heavy but had enough weight to assist cutting. The chain tensioner holds its setting well & is easy to adjust.
