This knife is sharp will cut fresh bread cleanly and evenly. Would seriously recommend.It has a round end why do bread knives need to be pointed.Brilliant would like to buy more kitchen knives from this manufacture.

My wife bought me this as a gift.........this is a kick ass knife! Wonderfully sharp. Handles at a good angle. Great for both bread, and slicing tomatoes very thin, with no pressure.

Really nice sharp knife that slices through bread easily and straight!!I purchased this knife as all my old bread knives were getting rather blunt and this just proved how blunt they were!!I think it's a very good quality knife for the price and feels good to hold. I would recommend!

WOW! This knife is as good as all the favourable reviewers say. I did not realise how poorly my old knife cut until I tried this on a fresh (12 hours) home-made loaf. It just cuts! No particular sawing motion needed, you do need some, it won't cut just by pressing on the bread, but the effort is minimal. The handle is comfy and I like the weight of the knife too. Very pleased with it so far. My only quibble is I would have liked a protective sheath with it; I don't use a knife block and all my really sharp knives are sheathed in a drawer. I definitely recommend it.
