I added the adapter to my travel kit. The lightening tab plugs into my iPad and I use an 8 foot HDMI cable to plug into the hotel TV. Streams from my iPad perfectly.

Gets the job done for sure and it’s a bang for your buck. I use this a lot more than I thought I would especially because we don’t have WiFi and I love it. Make sure your phone and iOS is compatible with it beforehand though

This mostly works as expected and the price is excellent. Once in a while I get an “accessory not supported” message but unplugging and plugging back in the device resolves that.
