Great brushes!
Just my kind of brush, not too soft, not too hard. Best on dry hair though.

Boar bristles for healthier hair
These BRUSHZOO Boar Bristle Hair Brushes come in a package with a regular sized brush and a travel-sized brush, plus a hair removal tool. The bristles seem a decent quality and are set well into the cushioned base. I like to use boar bristle brushes to distribute my hair oil throughout my hair. But they help spread natural oils, too, and make your hair shinier. It works much better for that than a regular brush. I can't tell if the handles are real wood or not, they might be a wood-grained plastic, but they look nice.

gentle on hair
This little Boar Bristle Brush is gentle on hair and fits easily into purse and/or luggage. I have thin, medium length hair. The half inch bristles on this little brush reach all the way through my hair and down to the scalp for a satisfying and smoothing brush, while being gentle at the same time. This Boar bristles pulls the natural oils from the scalp through the hair to the ends which is especially helpful to me because my ends tend to be dry. The handle of the brush is made of wood which has a nice feel and hold in the hand.

Great for Re-Fluffing Day Old Hair
These boar bristle brushes are made out of artificial boar bristles (plastic), they are still enough to detangle, but flexible enough to not pull too hard on knots. The brush says that the bristles should be great at redistributing hair oil and giving the hair luster, so I tried it on day-old hair before applying any dry shampoo. It does seem to do a good job of fluffing the hair back up. The smooth wooden handles feel great in the hand, even on the smaller travel sized brush. The brushes also come with a wire hair remover comb so you can upkeep your brushes, they have a 2 month warranty which is great if you end up with a faulty product, but so far in my experience they seem durable enough to last long past the warranty. Overall very pleased with the brushes and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve their hair care routine.

Air cushion doesn’t help at all and they have an odor, but otherwise nice.
I always prefer using boar bristle brushes over the hard plastic bristled ones. These brushes appealed to me because they have that padded cushion behind the bristles, which should help them conform to your head when you brush your hair and also add some softness to it. The wooden handles make these brushes higher quality than plastic handled ones. The shape of them fits easily in the hand. I love that this is a set of two. There’s a small bonus brush cleaner included. Unfortunately, the padding/air cushion doesn’t really do much to help cushion or conform in the way I thought it might. It’s still pretty stiff. You’d have to push relatively hard against your scalp when brushing your hair with this to notice that cushion, but that negates its purpose. In addition, I am sensitive to smells and I noticed that both brushes had a chemical type of odor. I can’t tell if it’s from the finish on the wood or if it’s some kind of glue used in the making of the brushes, or perhaps it’s from the cushioned area and whatever material that is made of. I washed the brushes and they still had this odor. Maybe it will fade in time. I’m going to let them air out and then decide if they are worth using and keeping.
