I'm a size 18 on the thighs, hips and bum and I bought an 18. It was too big for me. Yes, I could have worn it, but it was definitely on the roomy side. It is a wrapover style and you thread the cord through a hole and wrap round. The hole was a tight fit and slightly awkward to thread the cord through whilst wearing the garment. It is all the way round twice wrapover style and I'm not sure how flattering it was for me. I am going to opt for a skirt type costume instead, but this product would be good if you wear a tankini

I liked mine..I'm a size wobbly 14 so I needed something to keep some of my dignity while sitting by the pool..I found the 14 true to size..shortish but covers my bum and top of legs..definetly not down to my knees as someone had suggested in a review..nice material so will keep its shape..well sewn..but..how it ties was a bit of a mystery to me..tried a few ways but I definetly wasn't keeping my dignity as it kept slipping down while I was threading it through loops..so I settled with wrap around no loops nothing..tied in 3 seconds...perfect..I'm happy with my purchase..no wobbly butt exposed on holiday..(only in the pool)

Nice soft material, it’s wrap around and looks nice on.Good length for the ladies that dnt like show of top of their legs or bottoms . Havnt usedIve just tried it on, dnt know if it’s practical to use , I bought it for Aquafitnot sure if the shirt floats up around the waist as I’ve heard some swim skirts do. I think if it wasjust to swim in it would be ok. Over all it’s a nice shirt for covering up.

for those of you that want to cover from your knee upwards you need this skirt, it is very generous in size, I’m a 20/22 so ordered a 22 and it is miles too big so would suggest sizing down, for me it is also slightly too long but I’ll make it work. Was awkward to fasten but I’ll keep practicing. All in all it’s a great price and makes a change for an item of clothing to be generous in size rather than too small so no complaints here!!

I bought a 16 even though I’m a 14. Wanted it to cover bum area well. It came up more as a 18 and yes it does have a hole for the cord to go through and does overlap quite abit but overall it’s well made, covers bum and tops of thighs. I was looking for a army green and this skirt was perfect. I stitched some very small pleats at the back of the skirt which sorted out the problem.

I took advice from reviews and ordered a size larger than normal, which I now regret, as I have to pull the tie further than designed which looks a bit odd.
