Bargain beans for down to earth Jelly bean lovers. Not for snobs, lol.
Mine looked like the picture. I filled up my collection of glass jars - some jam jars with pretty lids and some old Douwe Egberts coffee jars I keep for storage. To be honest, they look fine as gifts for kids or sweet toothed adults. I'm not giving them as gifts. They're mine. There are numerous shaped pieces. Some look like several beans - up to 5 - stuck together. When I say 5, i mean of the mini sort like the Jelly Bean factory gourmet bean size. Then there are a number of larger ones, the size of a standard dice maybe, nothing anywhere near golf ball size. I didn't even get any multicoloured blobs like the photo posted by another customer. I guess its the luck of the draw - but mine are perfectly acceptable in appearance and size. It's obvious they're not "gourmet beans" but they don't exactly look fit for the bin either. They come in a plain plastic bag with an ingredients label on which is clear, but purely functional packing and certainly not gift wrapped. If you can't imagine what 3kg of jelly beans looks like I filled 4 standard jam jars and 3 Douwe Egberts (190g) coffee jars. The weight was correct. We priced up jelly beans in several places, and they average around £12.00 for 3 kilo's in the supermarkets for their own brand cheap beans. The only place you can get then cheaper is Morrison's own brand which work out at around £7 for the 3 kilo's. That doesn't include delivery. So all in all, these are a good price. They might be funky shaped, but the kids will think they're "magic" and "special" beans. Now for the taste. There are (white) vanilla/coconut tasting ones, I can't really tell - it's an "ice cream flavour type" - there is coconut listed on the ingredients list. In fact, they're made in the Netherlands and most of the ingredients for flavours were natural. Then we have (red) Cherry (like a Dr Pepper/Cherry cola flavour), (brown) Cola, (yellow) Lemon, (green) Apple, (orange) Peach. A few others (pink, blue) I couldn't guess. There isn't a huge array of flavours, but every time I have "gourmet beans" there are a whole lot of flavours I DON'T like, like the banana, mango, licorice, etc. I'd rather have these than have Jelly Bean factory ones. And they are somewhere around £30 to £40 per 3 kilo's anyway........Just spend your £30 on three packs of these and give/throw away any you don't like - its still a bargain.....

OOHHHHH, so sweet and fruity
OMG, a real bargain, 3KG bag of sweet juicy treats…These “Crazy Jelly Beans Gourmet Retro Sweets” could possibly be the tastiest non-Jelly Belly beans about. The label has them a product of The Netherlands and although these beans are various sizes and misshaped, the eating is almost the same as those clean tastes one associates with that of Jelly Belly beans. They look great decanted into glass jars though some individual pieces are really big, but OOHHHHH, so sweet and fruity. The order of beans arrived quickly, were well wrapped and as a security delivery measure, which I appreciated, they needed to be signed for, which was great. Overall I recommend these “Crazy Jelly Beans Gourmet Retro Sweets”.

Candy Con
Con candy is the right word for these jelly beans. I can't understand the 5 star reviews? They tasted artificial, they were as hard as the hardest hard gums, some of the were just all the the awful tasting sugar candy. Maybe they are a good alternative for a very young and undiscerning child but for this adult -- well after a few tasters I threw the whole bag in the bin. YUK. Oh and they were all stuck together in a solid block. Now I suppose some will say I was unlucky and got a bad lot, well maybe I did but I most certainly won't be trying again to find out!!

Great value for money, limited colours though.
Delivery was fast, the beans were delicious and it was fantastic value for money. The only criticism of this product I have is the colours/flavours were not very varied. The package we got had a lot of reds, yellows, greens and oranges yet hardly any beans of other flavours or colours (seemed like the other colours had been left in as an anomaly or mistake there were so few).Beans came in lots of shapes and sizes which is what I like about these.

These are different to genric jelly beans, TRY THEM
These jelly beans are really nice. They is a slightly different mix in each bag I have bought, but they are just as nice. Some taste tangy, some fruity, vanilla and just really tasty. My family has all tried them and then gone on and bought a bag for themselves.
