Paper and Iron, Notes and Coins well spent!
Wow! Wow! Wow! What a fantastic book. Mark Fisher has spent so much time and effort, not just with the production of the original Limelight fanzines which are all reprinted here, but on the collation of this wonderful tribute to XTC which includes up to date interviews with the boys and many other great features - this really is a Bumper Book of fun on so many levels. If you're a fan of XTC then you need this book in your collection...and it's so beautifully laid out too (the coffee cup marks and oily fingerprints are genius), the cover alone had me grinning from ear to ear...'Take home your Lucky Dip wage....It's a fun-fair life' :-) The XTC Bumper Book of Fun for Boys and Girls: A Limelight Anthology

Anything to do with XTC is brilliant
I am a big fan of XTC. I'd just begrudgingly thrown away all my copies of Limelight on a house move so this is a godsend. The most underrated band ever.

If you are fan of XTC, you need to buy this.
I was very pleased indeed to get my copy of this book. As a great fan of all things XTC, it is great to have the collected Limelight magazines in excellent condition in one convenient place. The magazines were a labour of love, dedicated to the band and they started partway through the band's early career and were the only way to get any information and to get questions answered and to read informative interviews with the band, as the press never gave them enough space on their pages at the time. The vintage magazine content is nicely balanced by interesting new interviews with the principal band members, Andy Partridge, Colin Moulding, Dave Gregory and Terry Chambers. In these new interviews, they refreshingly do not shy away from speaking about the eventual saddening demise of the band and while they are all moved on from it all and doing interesting things, there is a sadness from fans for all of them that they are not all together at this time, creating new music. It's never too late, guys.If you are fan of XTC, you need to buy this.

XTC crusaders!
I received my copy about a week ago, and family life has stopped as I have read it from cover to cover... this is such a brilliant endorsement for the superb band that was XTC. Such care, passion and commitment makes for a humourous and insightful read. If I could give it an overall rating of ten stars I would!
