Organic Nutrition Bar for Women - 100% Organic Gluten Free Perinatal Bar - Chocolate (Box of 12)

These are pretty darn small for how many calories they have (almost 200) and I thought that the chocolate flavor would actually have a coating of chocolate, which it doesn't. It's more like a tough, flourless brownie. But the flavor is pretty decent and there are little crunchy bits that keep the texture from being too weird. Overall, though, I see absolutely nothing about these bars that is better suited than others for pregnant women. They don't have extra folic acid or anything like that. It's basically just a really expensive, tiny energy bar.

I ordered a box of these and looked at the expiration date and it said October 21 2015. 2 months expired.

I am quite skeptical about nutrition/protein bars but these are soooo good. I would definitely recommend them.
