I have numerous health issues that this Mattress Pad has helped. I have nerve pain and only the softest and lightest material can help; unless there is a bad day and you don't want the air to even touch your skin. I had the mattress pad laying at the bottom of the bed waiting to be put on the next day. I hadn't given it much thought but, my feet kept touching the mattress pad and it was so soft that I kept my feet wrapped up in it. Later that evening it was getting very cold and, sleepily pulled the pad over me instead of my regular blanket. It was so gentle and soft on the skin that I turned it over and used the top of it as a blanket. I slept so well and the nerve pain was not as severe on my body and the burning lessened which had allowed me to sleep. I seriously was thinking the next day of cutting the fitted part off and using it as a light blanket. I went ahead and put the pad on the bed and it was cool to lay upon, super soft, and the best mattress pad I have experienced as far as material, softness, cooling and a very pretty design on top. I have extensive back pain, pinched nerves, sciatica, muscle spasms, and the list goes on. It did feel good on my back but, I believe it was just softer and not supportive since; after all, it is a mattress pad.I purchased this thinking I was getting a pillow topper but, I was confused. It has given me relief with the nerve pain (imagine someone poured kerosene all over you and lit you on fire) so, I kept it and I am looking into whether I can get a sheet set and blanket made from the same material. If not I will purchase a couple of these and alter them to fit my needs.All of the mattress pads I have previously purchased was itchy, coarse and just plain horrible. A mattress pad is suppose to protect your mattress if I am correct. I did not test this to determine if it protected your mattress against stains or waterproof. I do not see how this would help a mattress that is many years old and has deep dips in the mattress. That was my mistake confusing the two but, it was a really good mistake. I strongly recommend purchasing this mattress pad for the soft and smooth material and a cooling effect that helps keep you cool on foam mattresses. Look at pics provided by other customers and as soon as my phone is replaced, I will upload my pics.

My mattress is not super comfy but this gave an extra comfort. It was easy to put on and holds pretty nicely. The best part is that you can wash it unlike the actual mattress, so you don’t have to be crazy worried about spilling something on your mattress.

Quick FYI - I waited over a month to experience some use of this product before writing this review. So I had originally spent some time looking at various mattress covers from different stores and online, while comparing customer reviews, and after deciding on this one I have to say that I absolutely love this mattress cover. I needed something to turn an old mattress into a new one so I paired it with my 3-inch memory foam topper and that completely did the trick. This stretches to cover everything very well from edge to edge, and keeps it all in place. It’s also just as comfy as I was expecting it to be. I really love the material. It’s soft and stays very cool to the touch so it does not get hot at night. It arrived vacuum packed so I laid it out for the first night to puff it back up. And it’s loft is generous to me - I was not disappointed whatsoever!

I have a memory foam mattress from one of those mattress-in-a-box companies. It's a nice mattress and I've had it for around 4 years. I like a firm mattress, however, after a year or two I found the mattress to be a bit too firm. Not wanting to buy another mattress I decided to try to find a low-cost solution (since there's nothing wrong with my mattress).1st try: I bought a quilted top mattress pad that set me back $100 from a department store. Nice pad, but the sides of the pad that tuck under the mattress (it was made from a very thin, odd fabric) ripped over time--and my mattress was not that deep. Disappointed, I went a different route.2nd try: A three-four inch memory foam topper. A suggestion from my sister, but after a few months, it was way, way too soft and created more issues.3rd try: Back to a quilt top mattress pad, AKA this product.Sorry for a long-winded review, but this mattress pad seems to give me just enough softness to take the "edge" off the frim mattress. The sides are made well and it a perfect fit without moving around (a problem I had with the 1st try). It's not super padded, but that's what I was looking for.So if you made it this far in my review and you're in a similar predicament, then this will work for you.

I followed the instructions to lay the mattress pad out for a few days. The mattress pad fluffed up well. I put it on the bed. It easily fit on over my deep mattress as well as the memory foam topper. I noticed, right away, that the mattress pad made the bed more comfortable. The fabric feels nice, soft and cozy. I found it more relaxing than before I put it on. I am pleased with the purchase.

This summer, I have been sleeping terribly and getting so overheated. I tried getting two different new "cooling" blankets and that didn't fix it, and then I did a bunch of comparison shopping of all the different mattress pads and decided on this one. I finally slept well last night and didn't wake up overheated!This mattress pad came vacuum sealed and fluffed up immediately once I opened the bag. I tossed it in the dryer on delicate cycle for 20 mins to fluff it up a bit more, and it was very comfortable. It definitely does add a little bit of plushness on top of our mattress without being too much and feeling like I'm sinking into it. But most importantly for me, it is breathable enough that it dissipates body heat!

I still have a back problem but this topper helps me to feel more comfortable. Highly recommend it.
