Zento Gel Ink Rollerball Pens, 4 Black Medium Point Smooth Writing Pens, Colored Japanese Pens, Muted Colors

I have never loved a pen enough to write a review. I'm obsessed with these! I've tried a lot of gel ink pens and while I have love for my eraseable frixions, for a comfortable nicely designed rollerball this is SO good. It writes very smooth with no skips and I find it very precise - when I write, there isn't any bleed of feathering I sometimes see with gel pens. The barrel is softer so it makes it more comfortable to hold and no smears so far. I definitely wish that there were more ink colors available, so hopefully that is on the way.

these pens are so good. smooth writing and dry quickly so my hand doesn't smudge. the design is very nice and sleek. the thickness of the pen is good for my hand to comfortably hold it. it's strong, pretty, and the ink is perfect and bold, writes down like i printed it.

It’s a pretty good pen, officially a favorite of mine, an improvement in writing experience compared to Uni Ball’s One ink, less skipping and the flow is much nicer. Ink is less pigmented so it shows up as a dark gray and it dries slower than the One- especially on the all popular Tomoe River Paper. It’s like a more flexible & bleed resistant version of my favorite pen- the Zebra Sarasa Dry (also in 0.7mm). The shadowing on thinner paper (think 100gsm and lower) is pretty intense but a smaller tip will minimize this, go for 0.5mm if that’s a concern. The biggest flaw though? This pen completely rejects textured paper. I’ve never seen a gel pen feather so bad. The paper was only the lightly textured at that. Also haven’t seen any ink refills in this tip size sadly, only in 0.5 and 0.38mm sizes.

Impressive quality look feel. Roller ball ink is fluid and dynamic. It’s a perfect pen. Rubberized feel and pleasant colors.

I absolutely love these pens! I had used two other specially types/brands of pens for a really long time and these are just as good if not better! They write so well…they don’t drag, it’s a nice dark ink. They don’t dry up or use up quickly. I like these pens thickness of the ink. It’s just right! They are so pretty too! I just love the way they look! I do this “favorite things” for my office around the holidays where I make a little bag of my favorite things of the year, and these pens made the bag! I bought a pack for each of my coworkers. They got high praise from all of them, even the pen snobs!

These pens are very pleasant to write with. The ink is very smooth. However, it's important to know that the 0.7 refills in these pens make a broader line than the 0.7 refills in the Pilot G2 and the ink is more fluid and is prone to bleeding through paper. The 0.5 and 0.38 refills are better for a wider variety of paper.

It is a little thicker than expected but the writting was smooth on almost every type of paper that I tried it on. It is a strong ink so it may be noticeable from the other page

Están hermosas, aparte de que son de una excelente calidad. Se siente suave y no deja exceso de tinta sobre el papel.

Prima pen met goede stroeve grip en goed vloeiende 'inkt'. Kan iets vlekken als je er te snel over veegt op minder absorberende ondergrond.

This has got to be one of the best pens I have used for writing. The shape is simple yet comfortable. The clip seems strong and unlikely to break. The writing is ever so smooth, almost zero friction of ink on paper. Excellent value for this four pack. Note that all pens write in black ink. I wouldn't usually write a review for a pen, but these are exceptional. You will not be disappointed.

Smooth and great for writing

Die neuen Uniball Zento-Stifte kommen als Viererpack in unterschiedlichen Pastellfarben. Die Stifte haben ein minimalistisches, aber elegantes Design. Sie bestehen ganz aus Kunststoff, wobei der untere Teil oder zwei Drittel der Länge mit einem gummiartigen Überzug vesehen sind, der für eine ausgezeichnete Griffigkeit und einangenehmes Gefühl in der Hand sorgt. Der Clip ist gefedert und läßt sich sehr weit aufspreizen, so daß er mühelos auch über dicke Stoffe oder Stiftschlaufen paßt. Der Click-Mechanismus ist leise und präzise. Im Inneren befindet sich die neue Mine des Typs UBR-Z-07. Diese enthält eine neue entwickelte Geltinte, die für noch leichteres, müheloseres Schreiben sorgen soll. Die Tinte trocknet rasch und ist danach absolut wasserfest. Allerdings ist sie nicht ganz so tiefschwarz wie andere Geltinten (etwa jene des Uniball One). Die Stifte, bzw. Minen sind in unterschiedlichen Strichbreiten von 0,38, bis 1,0 mm erhältlich. Diese hier haben die Breite 0,7, was m.E. am besten zum mormalen Schreiben geeignet ist. Ungewöhnlich und wohl eine Besonderheit dieser Minen ist, daß die Strichbreite bei steiler Haltung schmaler, und bei flacher Haltung breiter ausfällt, ähnlich, wie man es von einer Füllfeder erwarten würde.
