This faux fur feels wonderful to the touch. The size of each piece is good and the colors are great neutral hues. (For note, on my computer screen the colors looked more true white and darker gray. The pieces I received are more of an off white and a lighter gray. They will still work for me and I realize that computers aren’t always color calibrated). The fur definitely adds a cozy feeling. I don’t photograph babies, but I do photograph baby animals and I think this will look great as a backdrop or as a floor drop. The fur would also make a great product backdrop for those who do that kind of work. I find the fur to be a good value and would recommend.

Make sure you follow the instructions and wash this product and lint roll it or you will have pieces coming out everywhere. First, I was worried that this was going to closet to look fit as bars, but reality was just the exact opposite. It really brought it to life and Now it looks amazing and is really great for product placement.The texture is nice and shows well in photos.

I panicked a little when I first started handling this product as it just started shedding everywhere. I couldn't touch it or move it without getting covered in fibers. 😅 I was concerned that the product wasn't good, but decided to take the time to wash and dry it as the instructions recommended. I am SO glad that I did because after pulling like a baggie full of hairs out of my lint trap and then using a delinting tool on the back of each mat, the hairs finally stopped coming out and they're beautiful! Gorgeous faux fur, pretty soft, and easy to refluff with just a shake and hair doesn't go everywhere! Yayyy! 😄

I actually ordered these to use for doing these reviews. And so far, they're perfect for the medium/smaller items, such as shoes, lingerie, accessories and such. But the pieces of faux fur are so soft and smooth, so if you needed something like this for a newborn photoshoot, these would be so adorable and cozy for the baby too.

I needed fur backdrop mats for upcoming winter product shots. I loved that this set included both grey and cream fur. I was so impressed with the packaging and presentation of this set upon arrival. The mats were in a nice, sturdy logo'ed box and were individually wrapped inside. A note was included from the product company, which was a nice personal touch. Each mat measures approximately 28x24" and the faux fur quality is exceptional. They photograph just like real fur with little reflection under studio lighting. They are very soft and realistic! I do not have a newborn to give approximate scale, but I did include newborn props under studio lighting for a better idea. (I also included a photo of our 4-year old, 20-lb. Cavalier Spaniel that was taken under overhead lighting for additional scale.) These will keep newborns very warm and cozy and work nicely for any flat lay photography as well.

These are absolutely what you want. I washed them and they came out beautiful. Used in my light box to showcase my products.

These fluffy fabric mats would make lovely props for photography, I mainly see them in the world of newborn photography, so I wanted to try them out to add to my prop collection.But they shed SO stinking much.I laid my 5 month old on the white one to take a sample photo for this review but I immediately had to pick him up because fuzzy lint stuck to his skin everywhere. His face was covered in it and he got all itchy and sneezy. I tried to shake it out like a rug and try again but fuzzies filled the air and I decided I’d rather just not use for little babies.I’m sure I’ll find other uses for these, but if the rest are like the ones I received, then I wouldn’t recommend for baby photography. That would be an embarrassing and stressful mistake to make in a session

These are super soft and the perfect size for newborn photgraphy. Love how my photos turned out with these. Great find.
