Avlon Keracare Protein Styling Gel (Clear) (16Oz)

One of the best gels I have ever used on my natural hair I have been looking for something like this a long time now ! It doesn’t leave an icky feel after dried yet it defines like nobodies business; excellent! It also is a great edge control it leaves my hair and curls shiney like extra shiney when I pair it with kera care leave in conditioner as my hair it black so the shine shows up ! This gels works best for me when my hair is washed and wet just out the shower and I sectionize my hair to style ..it can have a cast based on if I use a lot but even then once I touch it to break the cast even without breaking it it still has a nice comfy hold it truly leaves hair and coils and curls well formed and I mean very formed !! I can see the beauty of my curls without having to finger coil this gel shows off the natural curls I have without having to manipulate a curl I love it !! I am definitely buying again !!

I found out about this gel from my hairstylist. It is one of the staples used in the salon. This provides a very soft but strong hold for my hair. It does not flake and it doesn't leave my hair feeling tacky. It has a gentle smell that is easy to tolerate. A little definitely goes a long way! I would definitely buy it again. The gel is a tad bit pricey for hair gel, however you get what you pay for. It is worth the price and it was actually cheaper on Amazon than I've found in beauty supply stores.

Came super sealed no issues and no mold or anything of that sort. I gave purchased a total of 6 jars and no issue. Just be aware that the gel has a unique smell from the protein don't be alarmed there are no parabens or perfumes so don't expect it to smell like a bed of flowers lol.

Amazing! No flake, no residue, smells amazing. I stopped using a gel because it would flake. A beauty guru on youtube told me about Keracare. Tried and love! Use with Keracare Leave In Condition. I thoroughly rinse my hair in the shower, while its dripping wet, I shake the water off (do not use a towel or tee shirt), add leave in first (detangles as you comb through). After leave in, use first two fingers like a spoon and grab some gel into the palm of hand not quite a spoon full, a little goes a long way, massage into hands and put on wet hair. Run fingers through hair until all is coated with gel, then add an oil, I prefer Pure Sweet Almond Oil, to the palm of hand and massage over gel coated hair (this way you don't get the crunchies - you know how gel can do you), style as desired. This smells amazing. I let my hair completely air dry and use my hands to make my curls fluffy, but I do no comb anymore ... soft, soft, soft, super defined, hydrated, shiny curls.

This gel leaves no residue on my daughter’s hair. It’s not as strong of a hold but it gets the job done. The fact that it leaves no white flakes is why I keep buying it

Good hold and really good for slick styles

It's a wash and go dream.. I usually hate crunchy gels like Eco Styler, this nice and thick to get the curls going but doesn't dry all crispy and dry. It's actually soft.
