This was step one in getting my leopard gecko the proper lighting he needed to be healthy, and let me say I can definitely see a difference. Mine worked fine out of the box and he and I love it so far! He doesn't exactly bask, being albino, but I've noticed he hangs out in the shade when the light first comes on (I used a cheap timer, it stays on 12 hours and off 12 hours) and is more active in the afternoon. He loves it!

I received my product and tried it just to see if it worked. Everything seems to be fine, considering that it is a delicate product that had to travel to another country. I was afraid that something would arrive broken, but everything is fine.
