Backstory:I have a reoccurring tail bone injury. I spend a lot of time at a desk and bought this pillow to help relieve the pain. I was to the point that I couldn't sit down at all and was working while standing.The Good:It's a nicely made pillow and is thicker than I expected. The cover feels soft. My tail bone pain has improved a lot since I started using it and it does help. This is a good addition to overall treatment and I plan to use it permanently even after I'm feeling better.The Bad:I'm still in pain and that wasn't what I was hoping for. It's not a fix-all solution for immediate relief. I was hoping to buy this pillow and be able to sit at my desk for 8 hours. In truth I can make it 2-4 hours before I need to stand up. My primary pet peeve is that it deflates and after a couple of hours it just doesn't supply enough support. I wish there was just a little more cush for my tush. This pillow doesn't work well on rolling desk chairs that have curvy bottoms. It does work pretty well on flat chairs.Overall:I'd suggest this pillow to help coccyx pain, but don't expect immediate relief or a fix-all solution. This pillow is great as an addition to other treatments. I plan to keep using it in the long-term and I'm sure that it will help me avoid future injury. Overall a decent product.

I bought this because I started having tailbone issues when I switched to a 40 hour desk job. After a few days, my discomfort started to go away. The cushion is very comfortable, and redistributes my weight to the proper areas for sitting. I have had it for 2-3 weeks now, and my only complaint is that it is losing its structure already and starting to get pretty flattened from use. It isn't quite as comfortable as when I first got it. From reading other reviews, this appears to be a problem with most of the products on the market, though. Overall, I would recommend this.

I gave this to my wife as a gift and here is what she has to say - I’m pregnant, and I work full time, which means sitting had become murder on my pelvis. Pregnant women will know what I mean: that searing tailbone and hip pain that feels like you slipped and fell, except you didn't. I used to stand, and wince with pain (and everyone assumed I was in labor, early), because my back and hips would be so stiff. It came down to ordering something like this, being "that woman" at work, or huge chunks of leave. After even the first day with this cushion, I could stand, sit, and move without anyone calling for boiling water. It's been a few weeks, and I'm able to sit for more than a few hours, with no issues at all. I am actually comfortable, and I'm so thankful! On the rare days that I have forgotten it (because I now drag it everywhere, like a child and her blanket), I am right back where I started, in unbearable pain. It has a nice little cutout for the end of your tailbone so there is none of that awful "fell on ice" pressure, and it tapers at the front so your legs don't lose circulation. The shape forces me to sit properly, too, which I'm sure my orthopedist and the baby both appreciate. The memory foam springs back perfectly every time, even under my increasing weight. Bonus: the grey is a subtle, tasteful color and no one mistakes it for one of those embarrassing "doughnut" pillows. The cover is a faux micro-suede-type thing, and it doesn't slip off of my office chair. It's cozy. I am in love with, as I call it, "my butt pillow." And, PS: while not its intended purpose, it works great in the car too. It's saving me the indignities of pregnancy and I hurt so much less often. We trolled Amazon for this sort of cushion, and pulled the trigger here, admittedly, based on the awesome price. I can't compare it to anything else, but it really, really is worth every cent and many, many, many more than they're asking. I <3 this pillow.

This cushion is the best! I am a 61 year old male with severe spinal stenosis and have constant pain in my lower back and legs, especially when driving a vehicle. I have tried several products, but have found no relief until I tried this cushion. The split at the rear allows for tailbone movement on bumps and helps prevent shock. The 3 inch thick foam core compresses just right under my body weight for a comfortable driving position. The cover is well made and does not slide around on the seat like others I've tried. It is also very durable and easy to clean. In a word, this cushion is "Perfect'. I highly recommend this cushion for anyone who suffers lower back or spine pain. I used to have to constantly wiggle around in the seat to try and find a pain free position, and actually have stopped many times to get out and stretch my legs to relieve the pain and numbness. Not any more. I have been able to drive for much longer periods of time than I have in the last three years, it's almost unbelievable for me. Not only is this a great product, the company is first rate too. My cushion was delivered in a few days and they sent me emails confirming my receipt of the cushion as well as to ask how it was working for me. I am happy to recommend this product and this seller to all my friends, as well as taking it to show my Doctor this morning. He is going to share with his other patients who suffer like I did. Bought it based on the many 5 stars reviews, but this seat cushion is a bit small in both dimensions, making it awkward and uncomfortably to be used in the car or chair.It's contour shape sounds nice, but it is hard to stay in the depressed portion, due to it's overall small size, requiring to squirm around to fit a semi-comfortably position. I am quite disappointed in this product and considering to return this item.Now leery to trust the 5 stars reviews from Amazon product rating!
