I purchased this mat for using under my cats water fountain and feeder. The design with the lip around the outside of the mat is one of the reasons I bought this product ,along with the easy wiping material.This mat is exactly what I was looking for! It's non slip, the lip is brilliant for stopping any water spillage or food and saves the flooring from damage. It's easy to wipe down or even clean in sink . Dries very quickly and doesn't loose shape ( it comes rolled in post) nice thick material and paw detail just a little something extra. Recommend for any pet owner

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Not silicone, which cats don't like, but rubber, which is softer and more neutral to their feet.Cats don't like water in a bowl. So, if your puss is knocking it about, get him a water fountain. They love it! And, if they are knocking their food dish around; then they are trying to tell you that they don't like the food. Cats need a wide variety of protein, because they need the different amino acids found in these foods to keep them healthy. Restricting them means they are more likely to get sick. Plain steamed meat, nothing added, is the best. Things like lamb, pork, beef, liver, lambs or chicken, rabbit, veal, hard cheese, eggs, white fish, pilchards in tomato sauce(Glenryck) cod roe, prawns chicken, mussels(not in vinegar),duck,turkey,salmon, steak, ham, corned beef. Just make sure there is no sugar, garlic, spices, or onion in anything, as the cat can't process them. Better for them than endless crap from the supermarkets and no more upset food bowls.

My cat took to this straight away and it makes the cat feeding area look nice and modern. It is easy to clean, but the only downside is that because its flexible, any liquid spilt is difficult to hold in the mat (it has raised edges). However, what I do like about the mat being flexible, is that one can hang the mat over a towel rail to leave it to dry, which could not be achieved with a flat mat. The bright colour is good too as it draws attention which prevents people tripping. I bought thiis in part because my elderly grandparents tend to fall and I did not want them to trip on the bowl and mat, or slide on any spilt water. This has worked very well for this purpose, and as a result I think this would likely be useful for homes with children too, especially as the mat is easy to keep sterile. All in all, a wonderful product.

A bit small but perfect for keeping the area clean!

I bought two of these as our cats are really messy eaters and I was fed up with constantly cleaning up. I am very pleased with the product. It seems to be non slip and it’s easy to clean by rinsing under the tap. I like the raised edge which stops food spreading on to the surrounding floor. I am very happy with the product.

Cats think it’s ‘purrfect’. Excellent value for money and looks smart.

If your planning on getting this for a new puppy. I wouldn’t. Our puppy thought he could play tug of war with it and loved to chew it. I would probably recommend it more for an older/small dog
