Escape room in a box
Love, love, love these Exit games, an escape room in a box! They are great, provide hours of fun, will give your brain cells a workout and are perfect for multi-generational groups to play together. If I had one negative comment, it would be that you usually need a piece of paper, pencil or pen and pair of paper scissors and these aren't provided, which isn't usually a problem if at home but the first one we bought, we were travelling, and didn't have scissors so had to tear certain bits of paper, when precision cutting is required.

Nice escape room game.
This game is easy to set up and play. The game is rated as an easy one and although we have played a lot of this type of game we needed to use about 6 of the help cards. Make sure you have a scissors handy as you need to cut some of the parts. The game took us about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It was an enjoyable experience and I am planning to buy another one to play soon.

Intelligent, engaging, fun.
Engaging, fun and intelligent, Exit: The Sunken Ship tasks your group with solving riddles and puzzles with a view to recovering a treasure thought lost.Instructions are clear, puzzles are creative and, most importantly, when you arrive at the correct solution you feel a genuine sense of achievement. The associated app could be better quality, but in general I recommend this without hesitation.

This series is great family fun
I've finally played this with the family in lockdown after buying it ages ago. As a result I just bought 3 more in the series. It was fun. This one is pretty simple but I wanted my family including kids of 11 and 15 to play and enjoy it so something too hard would not have worked. We scored 8 stars (of 10 max) and completed it in just under 90 minutes with just one episode of reaching for a clue card. It's interesting how the different members of the family see different things and contribute to the solutions in different ways. what one person alone might find hard is soluble with 4 heads together. We will play some more at 2/5 difficulty but I've also bought a 3/5 to progress to....If you've not played them before, be clear that they are single use games. Not just because you know the solution once you've played it, but because you cut things up in the playing. If you know what it means, some of the games in the series won "Kennerspiel des Jahre" in 2017, which is usually a good sign!

Great game
I love all the Exit games. This was a good solve for family game night. You’re able to include everyone. Puzzles were difficult but not too hard to solve. I fully recommend this game

A review for: The EXIT Sunken Treasure
Ive played a few of these types of games and although it idea of having a 'home escape room' sounds enticing, I've always found them to be a little anti-climactic and usually contain a few puzzles which we had no idea how we should have solved. This usually leads us to lose a large amount of time and becoming frustrated and how the puzzles should have been done at all. For "The EXIT Sunken Treasure" there are two puzzles which causes us issues. The main one being the one which included the Gems. Without giving much away, Even though our gems followed the rules.. it was still wrong. This escape room was a little different to the others I have played too as it seemed to hold your hand regarding which puzzle to do next. I guess this was for story telling reasons but resulted in everyone trying to solve the same puzzle rather than everyone trying different ones. The 'Wheel' system is still the key component which feels like its very restrictive when it comes to creating puzzles around it but the makers seem insistent on keeping it in all of their escapes. If you're a beginner at this kind of game I would recommend trying HASBOs escape room box.Edit: We have since played "Dead Man on The Orient Express". Stay well clear from this one. Not fun at all!

Very clever clues to solve and fun!
We really enjoyed solving the all the clues and trying to 'escape' from the comfort of our home. Managed to solve in just over an hour (not bad for our first experience with this type of game!). only issue we had was that one of the clues did not say to turn to a page and we had to use a help card to know that we needed to go to that page. Other than that it was 'smooth sailing' and very enjoyable.

Highly frustrating and much too difficult
Very disappointing! We started off very excited and it was good fun for the first 20 minutes when you think you get the hang of it. After that it went downhill really fast and just turned into utter frustration as the riddles didn’t make any sense and were way beyond difficult to figure out for a 9 year old. Not even my husband could solve one clue towards the end so very frustrated we just gave up and resigned to having wasted some money.
