I bought it for elderly border collie dog having trouble standing up.. item is strong and well made.

BOUGHT THIS FOR OUR DOG WHO HAD BEEN SUFFERING WITH ARTHRITIS, AND HER MOBILITY WORSENED. THE SLING WAS SUCH A HELP AND GAVE HER THE OPPORTUNITY TO WALK WITH THE SUPPORT.

Excellent service, My dog is a Labrador with Hip Dysplasia and has just acquired a knee problem, So he has a bad limp, we have been using a large towel to help support him until I saw this Dog Support Sling, Because of the handles it makes it so much easier, We are coping quiet well for now,

We purchased this to enable our 11.5 year old German Shepherd bitch to walk up or down the dog ramp when entering or leaving the car with confidence and to assist her to rise from a lying or sitting position to a standing position when needed. We envisage that it will also assist her when taking comfort breaks in due course. An effective way of maintaining her quality of life and our peace of mind.

I bought the large and it kept sliding,so had to return it was disappointed,but it was well made and good quality.

My dog insists on sleeping in our bedroom with us, and if you leave him downstairs he just cries very loudly all night. He is a large dog and his hips are going, but he still insists on coming with us. He was getting a bit difficult to get up the stairs so thought we'd try this sling. Used only the once and proved not to be any good for the job! Probably fine for just lifting a dog from the floor to standing position - which it may well come into its own at some point in the future.
