I don’t know what is in this tea but I finally went number two after one night. My husband also drank a cup the next day and he went also. He said it was like a religious experience. lol. PS we are both in our 70’s. Great stuff!

Works within a few hours, tastes better with honey, minimal cramping but definitely clears the system out. I steep two bags at a time.

At least for me it is effective. I drink a cup at night with a little lemon and the next day I’m going. Only downside, I found that it made me go more than once and not back to back. It isn’t something I’d recommend if you had to get up and go out the next day. It does hurt like heck; I find myself clenching my stomach when it is time to go. The taste, it’s not good but it’s also not bad. Adding a dash of lemon or honey is usually suffice enough and then it tastes fine.

I've used this tea for several years. When I feel like I need a little "cleansing", I have a cup of this tea. I suggest following the instructions on the package. The tea may cause some discomfort if seeped for too long. It helps me with bloating and keeping me regular.

After reading through lots of reviews, I was expecting this tea to have a strong effect on me. I took it as directed and it did nothing. It was as if I took nothing at all. I did it for the 10 days as directed and was disappointed for spending my money, and getting my hopes high looking for a different outcome. I actually felt more bloated and congested in the stomach and belly area. I wouldn't purchase again.
