Triton T100xr 9.5KW Electric Shower White & Brushed Chrome Fascia - Rp T80XR

We've had other brands of shower, inherited from other owners as we have moved home, but we have always come back to installing Triton when we needed to replace. Fantastic brand, easy to install and rarely fails; they last a reasonably long product lifetime in our opinion. The most problems we do have are related to our very hard water area, so that hasn't been the fault of the brand. However, we do find the Triton copes better and for longer with hard water limescale problems than the other brands. So that's a reason we always go back to installing Triton as our brand of choice. We do have a water softener, but that doesn't fully help the shower avoid limescale, possibly because of the high rate of water flow meaning the water simply doesn't pick up enough softener on its way through, it simply doesn't have the time. A shower in a family home might get used 2 or 3 times a day, or certainly several times a week, so it's worth choosing a good one. Hope they don't stop making this or alter it, because it is so easy to swap out when it is the same model due to water inlet & wiring inlets being identical. We are just about to buy another to make sure we have one in hand, as we are approaching 7 years on the current one and limescale begins to take a toll; our previous one died at 10. Other brands died at just a few years.

These showers are great and last for years. This is the third I've had (I just take off the old one and replace the new)

Easy to install, works perfectly (after consulting with Triton who explained how to switch to lower temperature ) . i.e. came from Plumb World without any operating instructions. Love my new shower .

We arranged for an electrician /plumber to install and it appeared to be a very straightforward process. This shower was a duplicate of our previous one so we have a lot of confidence in this product

Bought just over 2 years ago for the guest bathroom and hardly used although it worked perfectly well. Now it cuts out after a couple of seconds and the low pressure light comes on. Electrician couldn't find anything wrong, neither could the plumber, although he suggested a possible faulty solenoid. I rang Triton who charge £134 for their engineer to come out. Disappointing. Worked well while it lasted (probably about 5 times).
