After it had been charged 8 times, the socket from the charging cable failed completely. When detaching the charger, a small piece from the socket got stuck inside the hoverboard. The charger cannot be used anymore....Edit:In less than 12 hours from my email to InnovaMaxx UK I received an email asking for some pictures with the broken product.Before I got home and took those pictures somebody called me and asked me if is ok if they send me a new charger. I have to mention that they were so kind to send me a small gift for my son, too...Thank you InnovaMaxx.

The HX310 is ousting, far better than all the other hoverboards weve had. Great battery life, excellent to use & incredibly well built. Definitely recommend.

Good product. Luckily it came at least 50% charged as we were able to use it for a short while on my sons birthday as we were only sent a European-style charger and no UK adapter.

I have never owned a Hoverboard before and I am not the skateboarding/in-line skating kind but I have been thoroughly impressed with the Self Balance Board Bluewheel Hoverboard. It is a really cool gadget and it's actually quite incredible just how easy it is to use and to balance upon. The product comes fully charged so you are good to go from the off. The light and sound effects confirm that you have stepped onto the board and once your second foot is on you're ready to whizz off. I started off slowly and tentatively whilst holding on to a table but before long I had grown my hovering wings. As I gained in confidence I was ready to start exploring the true speed of the product and I was impressed. Another facet which impressed me was the ability to turn and manouevre within tight spaces. Of course the hoverboard isn't sold on it's ability to move around alone. Another key feature is the bluetooth connectivity with your phone and speakers which allow you to boom out music while you're using the product. From my perspective I am unlikely to use these features as much as the motion function but they are certainly nice extras and work effectively.My main issue with hoverboards is the fact that they are so widely banned, indeed you can't even use them in parks! That said, if you have or know of some private land these are great gadgets for young and old and this model comes highly recommended!

I caveat this with - this is our only experience of a hoverboard, so we have no other comparison points in this review.In summary, this is an extremely fun item for kids and adults alike, basically a motorised - forward to back platform. The challenge of staying upright is managed by smart gyroscopic tech, that ensures that with a little practice even the smallest little ones can master it.Whats to like:+ Batterry are well sourced good quality technolgy so theoretically you get 20km of use prior to needing a charge and the batteries should retain their charge well - therefore the lifetime of the hoverboard is enhanced.+ The motors are quick, I am unsure of the exact speed you can reach, but once mastered (and you decide to de-restrict it) this thing can motor for a truly exhilerating and fun experience+combine that with music on the go this is a neat feature - kids can listen to James Arthur whilst looking cool at the skatepark (exchange JA with any modern artist that I clearly have no clue about)+flashing lights and LED's we all like these right?Downsides- It is a fairly well-built item but is clearly not going to last forever. It is robust enough, but I wouldn't be betting on it lasting beyond a couple of years i.e. it is going to take a beating-Who knows to what extent the batteries will diminish, given that the whole unit is reliant on this, this is an interesting component part of the overall investment.In the immediate term, your £200 brings you a great adventure for your child, I think it is worth the money in terms of immediate return, the question is to what extent this lasts and time will only tell, I am optimistic..
