Vago Portable Luggage Compressor & 1 X Medium Bag - Pink

Love it. Did the job for a recent trip. I like to travel light but sometimes you need to pack more than you want. This little tool that sucks the air out of the bag it comes with reduced the size of the whole lot so it fit neatly into hand luggage!

Bought the Vago vacuum pump but it was intermittently cutting out. This would have been extremely annoying if I had gotten to my holiday destination and it failed such that I couldn't put all my items back into my bag. So straight away this didn't fill me with confidence. While there is some compression of clothes, it wasn't as much as the normal vacuum bags that you use with a full size vacuum cleaner. At a guess, I'd say the compression of clothes is about 50% the original size. This may sound like a lot but don't forget, you're able to create a reasonably amount of compression with normal packing anyway. I'd say it gives a very marginal extra compression but this isn't worth the cost and the hassle to buy it. Then there's the customer service with the company, upon having the fault, I contacted the company directly and received extremely poor and unhelpful information (looked liked standard template responses). There were long delays in getting a reply and their responses didn't help. Had to explain the problem multiple times as I got passed around.I would seriously avoid this, because of the product and the company. Not worth the money when the good old technique of army roll technique (YouTube the method) can give you pretty much the same compression without any of the complication and cost.

I did not realise I could not use for other brands of bags. My mistake, as I should have noticed the fitting on the bag. Returned the item and received refund within 1 day. Good service.

The unit is proprietary and will not work with any other vacuum bags.It has to be connected to a power supply to work at all.The additional bags are tremendously expensive.You cannot get sizes as they are all out of stock.When enquiring about purchase of other bags, was told to look at a website where there would be a sale of the bags. Not on the website at all.Very, very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Works a treat and easy to use

Dislike can only be used on there special vacuum bag to which I seem to be able to only buy with another pump and one bag !

I've been using a VAGO vacuum pump for a few trips abroad now. It's brilliant because you can do and do something more interesting than wrestling with roll up bags like make a coffee whilst VAGO effortlessly shrinks down your clothing in the bags to fit into your luggage.It also saved me £80 flying with Ryan Air as I didn't need a hold bag as the shrunk luggage fit inside a hand luggage case instead. You can also keep worn and unworn clothing separate which saves some washing when you get home!You can buy vacuum bags BUT you need a vacuum handy in the hotel when you get there. VAGO is small enough to work off a power bank or micro USB charger and you can take it with you instead of messing about.Fantastic product, very happy!

Didn’t even open this. Once arrived looked for more bags and you can’t buy any extra. Pay a few more £a and get the JML one where you get 4 bags with it and you can use any vacuum bag. This one has a strange fitting so can only use Vago bags

Bravo, quelle idée géniale, un truc minuscule mais bigrement efficace, et pour nous qui voyageons souvent en low cost avec des bagages minuscules et de grosses difficultés à faire tenir tout notre linge à l'intérieur, la, c'est que du bonheur!! volume diminué de plus de moitié, j'en espérait pas tant! Merci !! et tout ça avec ce truc riquiqui, bravo!!

Esperaba más potencia y por la boca que tiene solo es posible usarlo con las bolsas de la misma marca (de un precio muy superior a otras de buena calidad). Compra decepcionante, devolví el producto

Schrecklich, die eine Tüte hat sich bei der 5.ten Benutzung zerrissen, und der Plastikteil auf der anderen Tüte ist auch kaputt gegangen, und ist im Sauger steckengeblieben. Alles Müll.

Une utilisation et le sac s'est déchiré au niveau de l'ouverture....
