Office Chair Floor Protectors - Felt Casters Pkg of 5

I am very pleased with this chair.

Bought these for the PVT we had just purchased for 2 reasons, it says it will not scratch the PVT and the pads do not accumulate hair. Every time we tried to use the chairs with these installed, the floor was marked up. Sometimes it was scratching, sometimes the wheel got stuck and if was scuffing. We were able to get most of the marks out, but not all. As for the hair, we have 1 dog and it grabbed the hair quite a bit.

I'm really happy with the outcome because I didn't want a chair that would roll away from me or scratch our hardwood floors. I bought a set for both my mother and myself. Mom has some mobility issues and I was looking for stability in a swivel chair. I didn't want it rolling out from under her as she was standing next to it (when getting in or out of the chair). When you are seated, these casters will roll but you have to want to roll. If zooming about the room on wheels is what you want, these are not the casters for you. My only complaint is that they were exceedingly difficult to install in the chair we'd chosen. Each one took a lot of working with force to press them into place. We didn't want to use a hammer for fear of breaking the chair leg or the caster. So far they are holding up fine, supporting weight up to 250#. We've had them for just over a month.

I put down $7000 hardwood flooring through the whole house and the office room, and thought I'd be smart and use the clear mats to protect the floor from the office chairs. However, after about 6 months, i discovered that around the perimeter of the clear mat the floor was destroyed by small amounts of debris finding its way under the lip of the mat and grinding into the floor every time the casters put pressure on the mat. So i ditched the mats and bought urethane casters. After about 1 year the surface of the urethane caster looked like sandpaper and the entire floor looks like it's been sandblasted (if you look at it in the right lighting).To prevent further floor deterioration, i bought these casters and they appear to be working great! Save yourself the (expensive) trial and error process and start with these. The room looks so much better without the clear mats to!One other customer complained about the casters not rolling well, I have not experienced this to be a problem.

Just installed a couple of weeks ago but they seem to be the answer for protecting my vinyl plank floors.

We just put down new hardwood floor and did not want to put down rungs in our office. I bought 2 sets about a weeks ago. One for my wife's chair and one for mine. The work great and roll with easy. No Drag. They are easy to install. Just take off old and install new. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to protect their hardwood floors. The only negative I can say is price could be a little cheaper but other then that A+++.

Great!Been using them daily for over six months, and haven't had a problem.They allow me to safely roll on the hardwood without sliding all over the place. I have smooth man-made hardwood that's dangerous to walk on in sox. The felt wheels give the chair a feeling similar to rolling on carpet; there's a little resistance, and the chair stays put. It's not quite as good as carpet but pretty close, and certainly the best option I know of.

I have soft wood floors. My new desk chair has rollers. They leave marks and grooves on the floor. These do not!I must say an unanticipated benefit is that I no longer just roll. Explanation: when I sit in my chair sometimes it decides to move a little with very little to no exertion on my part. Also, when I moved to where I wanted to be the original wheels didn't always want to cooperate.These wheels do not move unless you want to move. I'm very happy that I can enjoy my office chair without leaving indentations on the floor.
