Odd thread size
Fantastic pump! Plenty of power and extremely quiet. Time will tell but so far great value. Love the variable speeds and digital display. Have it running submerged in my sump pushes plenty of water straight up 5’ through 1” PVC. 300 gallons per hour on setting 7.Odd thread size though. There’s no fitting out there at your local hardware store that will fit it. Not a problem if you use hose or tubing but I wanted to hard plumb it into my existing system. Had to get creative. Used the large hose barb fitting it came with and glued that into the pipe. Works great.

Quiet, cute and strong
The negatives (only a few but not bad):1). There should be a 90 degree angle input option that can be screwed on so that it can work in lower water levels.2). The remote should have an on/off, not just a 10 minute "feed" shutoff option. I ended up buying https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FT4RBBM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to turn the pump on and off.3) One set of plugs is not screw in, and they tend to fall out or get pulled out and of course the pump won't work.4) I make fountains and I know there are many people who will use these for other than fishtanks. So perhaps the word "FEED" can be replaced by the word "PAUSE" so that people can use it on fountains, in water walls and other places besides fishtanks. As I said, these are mainly all minor... This is a really great pump. The positives:It's great! It's so quiet. Even on the level 20. I like that it goes up 20 levels. Many pumps go up to 3, 5, 10.It pumps the amount that they said it does.I also like that it's white and black, which matches the fountains I produce. The connection design and the pieces that go with them are good, strong and solid.I have tried mostly every pump on Amazon. This is clearly top for me and I plan to buy more.I plan to buy many more.

No noise! Plenty of power!
Great pump! Use it for my hydroponic RDWC a day couldn't be happier. Completely silent, great flow, and very versatile. Came with plenty of adapters so fit whatever hose you might use. I'm using it fully submerged. I didn't know if it had turned on until I felt the pump hose and felt slight vibration from water flow. It has options for aquarium applications and various pump settings to adjust flow and tempo. All in all a great unit at a good price.

Silent, well built. A little underpowered in my opinion.
Just received pump. Dead silent love that. Not as powerful as I expected maybe should have gone up a size. Pushing a bit lower than my pump rated at 796gph but fine. If it lasts it will be a great investment in silence.

Super quiet and easy to use
I actually use this pump to pump water from my water station into my aquarium with the inline function. I do this because I am able to get almost all the water out by aiming the inline tube towards the bottom of the brute garbage can. The controller works great for turning it on and off when I'm done too. When I first tried using this pump with the inline function I thought it was broken because it wasn't pumping water through the tube. I soon figured out that you need to prime the pump and fully submerge the inline tube in water to get good suction. Also, it will make a loud buzzing sound in the beginning of pumping but once all the bubbles are out it is dead silent. Probably the quietest pump I've ever had.

Dead silent, starts right up
We'll see how it does with longevity, but I'm very happy with the power and quiet operation replacing my tunze 1073.05 DC pump. I haven't messed with wave action or the controls, I just need a pump that works 24/7 on a reef tank.

My fish thank you
I bought this as a return pump for my 75 gallon aquarium after my old one died. Works like a charm. I love the “pause” feature that allows me to feed the fish while turning off the water flow for 10 minutes. It also has 3 different size hose fittings so it should work for whatever size hose return you have.

Good so far, very quiet. Update, broken controller
I have been using this pump for about a week and so far so good. the sine controller works as it should and the pump is very quiet. I am using it as a totally submerged sump pump. The box has a copy of the pump performance curve, I did not save my box and now I can't seem to find one online so I recommend taking a picture of that.Update, My controller crapped out completely. Does not turn on even though the power supply light is green. Hopefully they will send a replacement since I purchased it in May so it is less then a year old.
