Buy it, change it, it's easy
My local BMW dealer had a sale so I bought this filter at dealer, but it is the correct replacement. The one from dealer is clearly market with the numbers 13-71-8-507-320 and Mahle 2077/3. And, most importantly, it is very easy to change out the filter. Watch a youtube or two and do it. 5 - 10 minutes, tops.
