Geissele Automatics (09-109) AR15/M4 Armorer's Package

A simple hunk of metal yet worth its weight in gold, I had a factory muzzle I had to remove that was so damn tight I for the life of me could not remove. I tried fire, penetrating oil, muscle and leverage, and even a pipe strap wrench and achieved nothing but a small scratch on my barrel that I now regret since it could have been avoided by just buying this tool. I set it up on my vice and instead of pulling down on the wrench I wacked the wrench three times (carefully) with a mallet and it loosened from the crush washer, I thought I heard the angels sing hallelujah as I rushed unscrewing the muzzle of the end. The steel feels very high quality, a must have if your gonna build more than one rifle. Great product!

Superb.all tools are very high quality.the reaction rod is the best tool for working on ARs hands down. It removes all stresses from the receivers and other components that shouldnt be subjected to torquing forces.This is the only tool you need for installing/removing barrels,gas blocks,muzzle devices and rails etc. And the punches are almost everything else you need for other components.add a flattened punch for the bolt catch roll pin and an armorers wrench and youve got it covered.Highly recommended.

The reaction rod is OK. It doesn't hold it without some wiggle on it though. I think it's got to be that way but it feels like I have to be very gentle until it's in a stopped position and even then I don't want to damage the lock up teeth of the breech. I think a vice plastic block is a much better choice. No wiggle. No fear of internal damage.Gas block tools are great to have if I ever need them. I haven't used them so far.The push pin tool is very useful. I use it a lot.Overall the gas block tools are good to have, I used the push pin tool on lower receivers a ton. The reaction rod is eh. Love Geissele stuff. Not sure if this is worth the money in this case when a 20 dollar vice block does the same thing only better.

This thing is MONEY for upper builds. It makes holding and repositioning your upper so easy. This tool is expensive, but it is super high quality and definitely worth the price. I am always very pleased with Geissele tools and parts. Very happy with my purchase.

The gas tube roll pin that goes through the top of the gas block is an odd size ... save yourself trouble and buy this kit so you'll have the right-size starter and roll pin punches to do a professional job if installing that tiny roll pin. And the little rod with a ball on it (whatever it's called) is a far superior tool for installing trigger assemblies than using a slave-pin (or even just the final pin) ... you'll appreciate owning these tools. I only gave it a 4-star rating because the black ball on the trigger rod tool (whatever it's called) came off unexpectedly while using it... this does NOT impact it's usefulness, but I expected the rod and ball to be permanently attached to each other, whether the ball is allowed to spin or not. There are no threads inside the ball or on the rod to screw it back on either. I'm going to degrease/clean both and will put it back together with a little epoxy.

This is a must have for any gunsmith novice and expert alike. Quality is top notch. I’m just angry at myself for not purchasing this kit sooner as it makes working on and assembling uppers that much easier. As an added bonus the included trigger pin makes swapping triggers that much easier. Highly recommend.

I have assembled several of the evil rifles over the years, I had not assembled any in about 8 or 9 years now. I ordered this set because it just looked so much simpler than clamping the upper in a vise.Holy bajeeeezus. What was a 6 hour project 10 years ago was done in under two hours. It made the whole thing a much more enjoyable process. I am never one to go fast, but the type who takes his time with every fitment. The punches, and re-action bar are top notch.A few weeks later i was helping a friend with his Evil rifle. We found an off the shelf re action bar, nicely packaged up. It however was aluminium. I was not nearly as impressed. It worked for what we need, I don't see it lasting as long as this one.

The tools themselves are excellent quality. You do save money over buying the pieces individually and going through Amazon and being able to select free shipping is definitely a plus. The versatility of the reaction rod over other tools out there is just that much better and is worth the difference in cost.
