Proline Convection Oven

I love it!!! This one is better than the older ones. It browns all over without having to turn meat over. I haven't had to turn my oven on in months. Uses little energy and my electric bills prove it! Easy to clean too.

List price for the item might be OK but you have shipping charges and this is a heavy item. Instructions are useless,no 800 to call,no address,no E-Mail formfg or supplier. I had to go to Amazon search for the cook book & instruction book that should have come with the unit,another expense.The unit: All parts are very heavy and glass,not easy for older people like me to handle. It also gets hot,which is no surprise,it is an oven. I noticed ithas a hum sound when warming up which does not bother me. Cleaning may be a big,big problem if you want to lift it into the sink to clean because of weight,be careful not to drop,being wet makes it even harder to handle. It heats up fast and will be hot,hot be careful again when heating. Advantages would be you can see what you are cooking and will not heat up your kitchen like your oven. You do need some trial and error to cook properly with this unit.Do not bother to contact the supplier you will not receive a reply. The book you buy has all the info you need which should be with the unit anyway or atleast told comes separate. Best to go to a department store and check out before buying,then check price on-line. Extra accessories are available,anotherexpense.Since I wrote this review the heating unit burned out and now it is useless.

I have to guess at the time and temperature so I stopped using it when I started burning food. Now when I use it, I rely on a catalog picture to guess at the temperature.

It's working good but the only problem is there is no light in it. My brother bought one from cisco that has light so I m surprised why it's not

I bought this from Heartland, have searched online endlessly to find the instructions, have read blogs that refer to sites to find, but no luck. There are very few 'buttons' on the unit to decipher how to do the different types of cooking that the company claims it does.

I've had previous other brands of this type of oven, I love this one especially that it Browns up the baking when set to the appropriate temperature, does not burn it like some others did, did I hope it lasts.Will recommend it.

Works good but not as good as the ones that use a halogen bulb. But should last longer I hope. Had halogen type once loved it but did not last long at all. About 7 months.

Still getting used to it. Works as stated. I am sure once I learn the proper process.
