I bought this to use my my scar due to recent open heart surgery and It is very easy to use and is very helpful is keeping my scar protected and keeping clothing from rubbing against it. I am allergic to many bandage type adhesives and i am able to use this product with no reactions what so ever. I definitely plan on buying more as needed.

The “DFK Silicone Scar Sheets” are always on hand in my medical to-go-bag! Working in forensics heightens your awareness to somethings that you always keep in your arsenal, and this is one of those things! I have used other brands before but I like this brand for these specific reasons; firstly, they come sealed in a clear wrapper so the actual tape is not exposed to the air and therefore not compromised by bacteria. They’re also placed in a box, so you can tell if they were tampered with. Secondly, the sheets are not precut so you have the option of customizing them to your preference. (I would highly recommend using scissors that are sterilized.) Lastly, the flexibility is superior to some other brands. This is important because they seal in the optimal moisture making it less likely to cause a fungus when getting wet. They also are reusable but make sure that you wash it thoroughly with a mild soap and water and then place them back on the ridge side that you cut them off to dry. I’m actually using them now due to surgery on my shoulder. One more thing; I highly recommend NOT using this product until your wound has healed and scabbed over. Surgical scars should wait until 6-8 weeks. This scar tape is thick enough to keep skin from being irritated by clothing seams. It functions well for sun protection and it does a great job reducing keloids. In conclusion, used properly and adjusting the size to fit your needs. You will have great results and it will stick to your skin even though a shower.

Good product! I used it after having scars from a surgical operation:- I had NO allergetic reaction to this product which is great, I tried to use creams before finding this product and had bad allergetic reactions, as I'm allergetic to a lots of things.- Easy to stick and also easy to remove, I changed mine every day before my shower.- Loving the results! It's been 2 weeks and I can definitively feel my scars being more flat and lighter in color - from dark pink to light pink.- Feels good, it keeps my scars hydrated and protected so it's not scratchy for me.I was recommended much more expensive options by my doctors but this product is as good for a fraction of the price. Def would recommend.

These worked so good after my tummy tuck. My scar is so flat and smooth now. Took about a week to achieve this. Tape goes on smooth and easy and comes off just as well. I would wear it all day and only take it off to shower. So easy to reuse. This box goes a long way!

I love these for my C-section scar. I also use these on my forehead to prevent wrinkles at night. They are very comfortable and easy to use. It is simple to cut the amount that you need to put it on your body where you need it. These are great quality that you can reuse the piece for a week for 2.

I bought this product to put on a scar from a skin cancer removal that is close to my eye. I appreciate that I can easily cut it to the size I need. It stays on all night but I have noticed the edges start peeling away by morning. I like that this product was less expensive than other similar products but it doesn’t seem to hold up as long. Usually I can wash it only a couple of times before I feel like I need a new strip. I have used the product almost nightly for about a month. My scar looks a little improved but I am hoping it will look much better with more time.

The scar tape works very well. When I first began to apply it my scar was fairly new. It has softened the scar tissue and is gradually becoming lighter in color. The tape stays on well, but I first needed to use an alcohol swab to get the area completely free of all oils on my scar and surrounding skin. Once I did, the tape stayed in place and I could even wash it while in the shower the next day. It stays in place for at least 4 days before I need to replace it.There is a generous amount of tape on the roll so it will last a long time. I’d definitely buy it again.
