Men's Beard

I bought this product for a Smurf costume for my daughter. She loved it and it looked good. The beard stayed on the whole time with the elastic.

Needed it for my 9-year-old daughter for one of her school projects. She did a report with a trip-fold on Steven Spielberg and needed to dress up like him for the Wax Museum they did. I was able to easily cut this to size, spray it with white spray paint (so it would be grey), and take in some of the side so that it fit around her mouth. The rubber band that holds the beard in place goes around around the head, it was a little bit low on her ears and kind of bent them forward, but it was fine for an hour. The rubber band fit perfectly around her head and held the bread in place so we didn't have to do anything there.So this is a good beard, it can be changed to pretty much whatever is needed, or just worn as it is.

Using this as an old man beard for my Halloween costume. Since there aren't any customer images I wanted to make sure people got a realistic idea of what they're getting. Certainly isn't meant to be worn more than a few times but it will do the trick in a cheaper costume if your planning on dressing up under a budget. The mouth hole is cut a little large and I thought there was a but too much for the upper lip. A quick cut with scissors and some stapling and that as easily fixed. Will update with how well it holds up on after a night of drinking at the bars.Overall fits well but a lot keeps coming off and I had to fix the mouth hole a bit, only reason it was downgraded to four stars. Otherwise for this price point it's hard to go wrong and certainly beats the prices of the Spirit Halloween Stores!It arrives in a plastic sleeve and the hair is lays pretty flat but brushing it up with your hand gives it some volume. Please see attached pictures to get a good idea of what it looks like as I found it doesn't give much info in the regular photos.

This is basically just some brown fur material cut out in the shape of a beard with an elastic strap. The edges are raw and the back of the beard is the rough underside of the fur material. It's a bit stiff, and since the edge is just raw brown little fur bits fall off a LOT and stick to everything. But it's inexpensive and gets the job done if you need a short-lived beard. Definitely worked for my purposes, but just know that this isn't a high quality item.

It was like made out of paper. I knew the price was not going to give me a realistic looking one but come on... it literally felt like it was made out of tissue paper. Not worth the $6

The opening, meant for the mouth, would have to lay above your nose to properly fit your mouth. The whole thing is poorly super glued together. It’s flat and does not look like a beard. And it’s all tied together with a white string that can be seen from any angle. Not impressed at all.

Item was not realistic looking, but represented a Santa Claus beard. It was not fragile and worked well with what was needed. I cut away the area for the mouth to make it a bit bigger. Elastic band support worked well. Great costume gag item..

I am not terribly impressed with this fake beard. 'You get what you pay for' certainly applies here. Cheaply made in China.It fit comfortably but was bad to lose hairs with minimal use. Modifications to the shape of the beard are not easily made.My biggest gripe: The color was supposed to be brown and in the product picture it appeared to be a dark brown. But when I received it the beard was far too red for my purposes. It should have been labeled as 'reddish brown'.I may yet have a use for it but I will need a reddish brown wig to accompany the ensemble.
