I've been using Essie's UV Gel Damage Repair Treatment To the Rescue for a few weeks, and I'm genuinely impressed. Gel manicures, leave my nails brittle, peeling, and in serious need of recovery. This treatment has made a noticeable difference — my nails feel stronger, smoother, and healthier with each use. One of the best parts? The color. It’s a perfect pale pink — clean, subtle, and elegant. It gives that "your nails but better" look, which is ideal if you're trying to give your nails a break without sacrificing a polished appearance. This is the best product ever. I have a nail that consistently breaks above my nail line and this helped to rebuild it, so now it doesn't break as much. I'll alwaya have this in my stash.

Have you ever had a nail polish that you just simply aren't compatible with no matter how you prep and paint it on? That's me with this one which is such a bummer because I love everything about this polish. Unfortunately whenever I use this, I get peeling and chipping very quickly. I just don't have good longevity with this polish no matter how I prep. I think the formula just doesn't work with my nail composition. I had the same issue with another base polish that I used to use. Sometimes they just don't work. I still recommend trying this though because the color and feel is fantastic! I just wish it would last longer for my nails.

I’ve been a gel manicure regular, so this is a lifesaver in between appointments. After a week of using this, my nails feel so much healthier. It’s not greasy and works really well—I’d give it 5 stars.

When I put polish on i enjoyed the color. I was disappointed however when it peeled off easily after I spent time cleaning my outdoor furniture. It doesn't tolerate hands that are in water. It really hasn't helped my splitting nails. I would not buy this again.

I read that this was good for brittle nails and doesn't contain PVB. Polyvinyl Butyral is used for making polish stick, but it can create a bond that makes nails brittle over time. Not everyone is sensitive to PVB, but my nails are. Before using this, my nails would peel and bend using regular base coats. I apply 1 coat, let my nail dry, then a second. After that dries, I either leave it as is, because the color itself is a soft translucent pink, so it makes for a good nude nail. Or I follow up with a nail color and apply it, and my topcoat as usual. So far, I haven't had any issues with peeling. My nails immediately felt stronger underneath it and less flimsy. I'm using this as my basecoat for now with a cuticle oil until my nails grow out.

Completely peels off nail in one full piece within a day or two. I have used it daily for the past couple weeks and it has done nothing noticeable for my nail health, probably because it peels off a day after it’s applied. It is very thick and takes a long time to dry. The only positive is that it is a pretty color and looks nice and thick/shiny for the short time it stays on.

If you are on the fence about this product, buy it! My nails have always been thin and brittle and this nail polish has been a game changer. 2 thin coats lasts 3-4 days (I’m hard on my hands). I’ve been using this consistently for 1.5 months and my nails have never been healthier. They grow long and no longer split/crack. It does have a strong smell but it disappears after the polish has dried. I would highly recommend and will be repurchasing.

I don’t normally bother with reviews. This product is worth the hype. My nails are incredibly damaged at the moment. Weak, thin, bending, and even tears at the top. This product has made a difference in three days. So if you have damage. Keep throwing it on and cutting back your nails until the damage is gone..

Seems to work, however I've only had it for a couple of weeks, not long enough to tell if it will produce the results as promised. I see that other users have given it glowing reviews, but I can't right now.

This is the best polish to cover up ugly nail beds after gel removal. Perfect transparent pink and thicker consistency

1 coat, 2 coats, thin layer, thick layer, no fan, with fan.... doesn't matter. Always the same result. Takes 2+ hours to dry, with or without a fan. The longer it is drying, the more bubbles are created. Pulls in less than 25 hours. The results after removal, it made my nails peel more than they did before using the product. This nail polish completely fails on every metric. I am shocked, that this product was ever released to the public. Every other product of Essie's is amazing.
