The Leading Man VHS

I can't get enough of this movie, it is so really well acted by Jon Bon Jovi. The eyes, the expressions, the soft spoken words, the playfulness, and that serious look at the end of the play, is just superb acting! He plays his character so well it's totally believable, you want to hate him, but he's just too damn charming and good looking! Bravo Jon, bravo!!

Really liked the story and the characterizations. Felt some real sympathy for Felix, who was torn between conflicting desires and a twisted sense of morality. There are other reviews that cover the plot, so I'll leave it at that.

I've saw this movie in a theater & loved it...Went because of Jon Bon Jovi...I had to buy it & glad I did...Jon does an excellent acting job & so do the other actors...Jon's a sneaky character in this movie...It's great, to me anyway...

Jon Bon Jovi is really good in this movie. His character is one of greed, ego and ambition while watching you desire him and yet fear the outcome. We have all met a guy like this and it turned out just like we expected but we enjoyed the ride at the moment.

The product is fine, however, I cannot play it on my DVD player. I did not know that DVD's are made for specific regions; this product was made to be used in West Europe, Australia and New Zealand regions, (I am in the U.S.). Just a heads up for future buyers, check out if DVD can be played any where or is specific for region.

I love Jon Bon Jovi anyway but he was really good in this movie.

I'm a huge Jon Bon Jovi fan and have seen most, if not all, of his movies. I really enjoyed this DVD - it's one of my favorite movies that he's starred in. I would suggest it to any huge Jon Bon Jovi fan.

I have this on vhs, really need to have it on dvd! If you are a JBJ person, you have to have this.

Jon Bon Jovi gives a creditable performance as an actor, Robin Grange, who has had to get out of the U.S fast as he was having a ding dong with his director's wife. Given the lead in a London play, "The Hitman" he proves to be a calculating lothario. The playwright, Felix Webb is having an affair with one of the cast, Hilary Rule. He enlists Jon Bon Jovi to seduce his paranoid wife, Eleanor, to leave him free to carry on his romance with Hilary. However, Robin has eyes for every woman who comes into contact with him. Felix becomes overcome with jealousy as he sees his wife not only swept off her feet, but also Hilary caught up in the magnetism of the leading man.There is a great plot with some strong and tense acting from Lambert Wilson. Jon Bon Jovi gives a suede performance as the smooth operator.It is a totally different style from his performance in "Vampires: Los Muertos" as the vampire slayer. The guy does really have a talent for acting.Well worth watching.

I bought this after reading the reviews on Amazon. I've never seen Jon Bon Jovi in a film other than his rather small part in Blaze of Glory 2 and that wouldn't show him as an actor.I sat down and put this film on and I found that I really enjoyed the film. It isn't the best film I have seen but it's a nice little film with a good story line that plays well from the start to finish.I actually was able to watch this film and forget it was Jon bon Jovi rock star and actually saw the character he was playing. So that proves the guy can really act.

Excellent film. Jon Bon Jovi excells and was definately born for the part. A must for Bon Jovi fans, though I admit I was a little jealous of the actresses he kissed!

I had seen this movie at the cinema but I had to have the DVD too. This is one of my favorite Jon Bon Jovi movies, one of the proofs that he CAN act as long as the plot is reasonable and the cast is good. Leading Man overall is a good film, creating a sexy, mysterious story out of a typical love triangle and the character, Robin Grange (Jon Bon Jovi) simply steals the show.
