Monitor Audio Silver 500 Floorstanding Speaker Walnut Pair

For the money, these are spectacular. Current set up includes the MA Silver 500's, in walnut, Powered by a NAD 116 pre-amp, Hafler HA75 Tube headphone amp, Schiit Loki EQ for taming less than perfect recordings, NAD 216 amp, 125w rms, everything wired with Kimber Kable and Mapleshade, they are bi-wired. Everything I play sounds great, will rattle the walls when pushed, but I didn't buy them to shake the walls, I was going for accuracy and clarity. Love them, they will not be returned to Crutchfield. I did not buy them through Amazon, Crutchfield had them for $1100 each, scratch and dent, couldn't say no. For whomever is reading this, they are a great value for the money. Great clarity from the bass all the way up to the tweeter, very clear midrange, enough bass that I don't need a subwoofer. I listen to all types of music, except for bass heavy rap, not my cup of tea
