THE FLATTENING PROCESS IS NOT A MARKETING GIMMICK! The Flattening process adds time and machinery to the process but is well worth it in the final product! Flattening the Fused Clapton adds surface are to the coil and it secures the internal wires. Extra surface area means more direct contact to the heating element.
