AFI Nantucket Queen Platform Bed with Open Footboard and Turbo Charger in White

This is a great painted platform bed ... with one problem. If you build it to the highest setting, the supporting legs under the bed down the middle can be clearly seen from across the room and they are are raw, unpainted wood. They look like they came right from the lumber store!. We are not interested in a bed skirt, so we have to take the legs from the shorter leg option to the paint store, match the paint, find a day when we can take the bed apart, and paint those legs. It just goes to show you how much we like the bed that we are willing to do this.

Th bd looks great but it came damaged. The headboard and slats both had a crack. Ok so not a big deal if the company did the right thing but three phone calls and 2 emails later and nothing. I would say don’t buy because if there’s a problem the company doesn’t stand by its products and doesn’t care about their customers.

I absolutely ADORE my new bed -- and so do Chestnut and Bryan.

Frame came scratched and panels in headboard rattle. For a spare room it’s fine but not a main bed. Time will tell how well it holds up.

This bed is very sturdy and comfortable. We have a 10 inch foam mattress and we love it. It measures76 x 80 on the inside. We love the style. You could have a thinner mattress if you want, as well as a 12 inch mattress. I would buy it all over again. We've had it for nearly a year..

I like the bed frame but it was not packed well enough to prevent damage in shipping. There's where the problem began. The paper work that comes with the bed frame says to contact the AFI company for damaged, defects or missing parts and not contact the retailer where product was purchased..., however when I contacted the company for the damaged parts they would not help and told me to contact amazon for help. So now I have a very expensive bed frame that is damaged with no help from the company. I would recommend purchasing furniture from another more reliable company that stands behind their products. This bed frame seems to be $100. more than similar bed frames of the same type.

The slats were a little confusing and came with no instructions but otherwise this bed was easy to assemble and is a beautiful piece of furniture

I do feel like this bed should be about $50 to $75 cheaper for what it is but it is very pretty and seems sturdy.
