Halo Top Creamery, Red Velvet, 16 oz (Frozen)

This was seriously amazing, it tasted just like regular ice cream, but with wayyy fewer calories. I couldn’t tell the difference at all!! I’ve tried almost every halo top flavour and this is my favourite by far!

People who buy this expecting it to take EXACTLY like red velvet cake are living in a fantasy world; no food will taste just like something, unless it is that thing.But this ice cream is great! It's smooth and creamy and tastes kinda like strawberry chocolate. Plus, it comes with tiny cake pieces! Tastes great with Hershey's Lite Chocolate Syrup. The only kicker for me is how expensive this ice cream is. But, if you're looking for low-calorie desserts, this is the best you're gonna get

We used to have a Halo Top kiosk at our mall before COVID hit. I always enjoyed their red velvet flavor and was excited to see that it is offered in some markets. However, this flavor is like a white whale. Supposedly very few stores carry it, so of course I jumped on the chance when it was available on Amazon Prime. I wished I ordered more, because it's been sold out and unavailable since. Halo Top's red velvet is one of the few flavors that are actually very rich and creamy but at the Halo Top calorie level. It has just the perfect amount of brownie bits that make this flavor even more indulgent. It's undoubtedly one of the top flavors in my book. It's a shame you can't find this flavor in most stores.

I purchased two of these as they are my favorite flavor and hard to find in stores. Not sure why Halo Top doesn’t fill them to the top. Both containers I recently purchased were only half full, if that. I’ve complained to Halo Top about this before and they blame it on the ice cream melting and re-freezing. I’ve cream doesn’t evaporate, so I’m not sure why only half the container is full. Nonetheless, the Red Velvet is still the best flavor. Just wish there was more in this $6 container.

Oh man, this is so good. Buttery, velvety, slightly chocolatey, light and yet rich at the same time. This is the second best light ice cream I've ever had behind Blue Bell's No Sugar Added. But, do be careful if you're a diabetic, because this does have 7 grams of sugar per serving.

I like these because the calories are lower than most ice cream. The flavor is rich and creamy, and this is lower in sugar than other brands of ice cream. I can eat the whole container and its about half or so calories than other fattening brands. This is not low fat, but rather low cal and low sugar.
