I have been looking for something to keep my chin and lower face area warm when out walking the dog. A scarf was a bit bulky and often slipped down, other balaclavas have been too thick, too tight or itchy. This is nice and warm, is thin enough to wear under my waterproof hat, not too tight or itchy, easy to slip in a pocket if I get too warm and I like it.

After struggling to find a snood/buff type product that was warm, comfortable in its balaclava mode, made from merino wool and machine washable according to its care label, I noticed this product. I rarely give 5 stars but I'd give 6 stars for this if I could. Supremely comfortable, warm to the touch, ear holes covered by a secondary flap effectively a double thickness over the ear and a sort of articulated front which sits comfortably both over the nose or mouth and also under the chin. Another review reports that the neck is not well covered but I think its neck coverage is fine. Not sure why the supplier's Comment was so defensive.Off now to order the beanie.

This balaclava is extremely short on the neck and won't keep your neck warm and secondly it is NON REFUNDABLE. So if you buy it you're stuck with it.

Couldn't recommend enough for cold day treks etc. Or overnight camping. This does the job very well and high quality merino wool.

Very light and not at all itchy. Design makes it easy to alter which parts of your face you want to cover dependent on the weathet

Ho avuto modo di provarlo durante una ciaspolata con temperature molto rigide (dai - 8 ai - 15), e devo dire che ha svolto egregiamente il suo "lavoro". Poco ingombrante, puoi metterlo direttamente in tasca.Da portare sempre dietro ed usare all'occorrenza.

Versand war zügig. Ist auch fürs Tragen während kalter Winternächte im Schlafsack gedacht. Daher dürften’s im Nacken und auch vorne am Hals für mich gerne ein paar cm mehr sein. Wirkt auf manchen Bildern länger als sie bei mir (60 cm Kopfumfang) dann letztlich war.

Ottimo prodotto, ben costruito, nessun pizzicore una volta indossato, caldo ma non fastidioso. Consigliato. Come sempre, per la mia lunga esperienza, imballo e tempi di spedizione con Amazon Prime più che ottima.
